The heater was on in the car, and a cheerful song played through the speakers.

"Of course I'm happy." Lingling's eyes curved into crescents as she said brightly, "It's Friday, and tomorrow is the Lantern Festival. A wonderful weekend, handmade black sesame tangyuan, and Mr. Tang with us. Right, Qiuqiu?"

Cheng Qiuqiu had been quietly looking out the window.
