He later kills Shi Nian after enduring the Soul Sage's illusion and assassination attempt 10.

During the promotion tournament, Tang San is a Rank 42 Soul Master and defeats two Godwind Academy opponents before confronting Li Hong 15. He also leads Shrek's reduced team against Blazing Fire Academy, but Xiao Wu's sacrifice and Fan Yihuang's coordinated attack force him out of the arena 12.

Spirit Hall Pursuit

Spirit Hall repeatedly targets Tang San due to Lin Bo's efforts to change the future and remove him as an obstacle 10 16. Tang San remains guarded when approached by reincarnators, tests Liu Xiaoxiao and Chen Fang's claims, and learns that Bibi Dong's arrival in the Star Dou Great Forest places Xiao Wu in grave danger 45.
