After returning home, he helped Clear Water City repel a Beast Tide and joined Nie Heng and Little Light in killing a corrupted Snow Demon Wolf King, then asked to absorb its fifty-thousand-year soul ring.

• Mu En approved Jiang Ming’s production-line plan and ordered Shrek Academy to prioritize the Soul Tool Department’s resources for three years.
• Jiang Ming joined the laboratory research effort, helped develop a Milk Bottle Soul Power Stable Output Soul Tool, and created a Rank 5 Soul Ray.

• Jiang Ming absorbed the Snow Demon Wolf King's Soul Ring, survived its soul attack, and later gave Nie Heng the beast's Spirit Bone before venturing into the Far North for Little Ice.
• Jiang Ming found and collected rare ice treasures, helped Little Ice evolve, barely survived a thirty-thousand-year Ice Jade Scorpion, and returned to Clear Water City badly injured.
