Soul Beasts encompass a vast range of animal- and plant-type creatures. They are encountered in locations including the Star Dou Great Forest, Sunset Forest, Demon Forest, Blue Silver Forest, and ocean-adjacent forests. Cultivation Levels

Soul Beast strength is commonly measured by cultivation age. Higher-cultivation creatures possess greater danger, stronger Spirit Rings, and potentially more valuable Soul Bones.

Spirit Rings and Soul Bones

Soul Masters hunt Soul Beasts for Spirit Rings, selecting targets whose attributes, bloodlines, or innate abilities suit their Martial Souls.

• A Soul Beast sharing the same origin as a Soul Master's Martial Soul can permit absorption beyond the usual age limit, though at greater pain and risk. 20
• The Nether Dark Crow's avian nature and phoenix bloodline made its Spirit Ring highly compatible with Lin Li's Blood Fiend Demonic Phoenix. 3
• Soul Beasts can leave behind Soul Bones, though even Thousand-Year Soul Beasts rarely do so. 35

Medusa

Medusa is a high-ranking snake-type Soul Beast known as the Empress of the Serpent Clan. It is a snake-human hybrid born from the union of a snake-type Soul Beast and a human woman; older individuals increasingly resemble humans. 139

Evil Eye Tyrant

The Evil Eye Tyrant clan consists of cruel, bloodthirsty spiritual-type Soul Beasts with unusually developed intelligence. 311

• A Ten-Thousand-Year Evil Eye Tyrant possesses intelligence comparable to that of an ordinary Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast. 311

Moon Spirit Golden Cat

The Moon Spirit Golden Cat is an exceedingly rare feline Soul Beast descended from the Three-Eyed Golden Lion and the Moon Shadow Royal Cat. 297

• It is called a Child of Auspicious Beasts due to its extraordinary luck. 297
• Unlike the Three-Eyed Golden Lion, it cannot bless or protect an entire forest. 297
• It is renowned for ultimate speed, noble bloodline, arrogance, and difficulty of tracking. 297
• Its cave is decorated with collected gemstones, though it refuses to sleep where even a trace of sparkle remains. 315

• Lin Li later scavenges the remains of a battle between Medusa and a Blood-Colored Giant Tiger, acquiring a Thousand-Year Medusa Right Arm Bone. 35
