• Lin Li gave Xu Changkong a thirty-thousand-year soul bone, encouraged Zhu Zhuqing to face her sister, and backed her as Shrek Academy defeated the Star Luo Royal Spirit Master Academy.
• Lin Li demanded that the Star Crown Sect mourn her parents, while Zhu Zhuqing broke her engagement to Dai Mubai and the Imperial Dou Team defeated Spirit Hall to take third place.
• Dugu Yan evolved her martial soul into the Netherworld Imperial Snake, and Lin Li revealed to Xu Ling that she was the Death God’s Inheritor.

• Lin Li massacred the Strength and Defense Clans before attacking the Clear Sky Sect, where the Death God’s Soul Annihilation destroyed Tang Xiao and the sect.
• Lin Li learned the truth behind her family’s deaths, killed Tang Hao at Soul Town Village, and confronted Qian Daoliu before the God of Death intervened.
• Qian Daoliu brought Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo to Lin Li, who killed them and received the Death God’s Sixth Trial.
• Lin Li helped Xu Ling gain the Star-Moon Willow Emperor as a soul spirit, and the Star God’s blessing awakened new power in him.
• Lin Li and Xu Ling arrived at the Star Crown Sect, where Lin Li challenged Xu Changhe and demanded that Xu Leyan and Bai Yuan be honored in the ancestral shrine.

• Tang Chen confronted Lin Li over the Clear Sky Sect’s destruction, but after she survived his attack, he took Tang San and the others away while Lin Li entered Death Valley.
• Lin Li met the Death God, who gave her the Heart of the Death God and confronted the Asura God over his interference with her.
• The Sea God named Tang San his successor and ordered Bo Saixi and the Guardian Douluos to help him, while Tang Chen left Sea God Island.
• Lin Li completed the Death God’s Sixth and Seventh Trials, subdued the Death God Scythe, and gained powerful new spirit rings and a Purgatory Demon Dragon Left Arm Bone.
• Lin Li fought the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King, survived Bo Saixi and the Sea God’s intervention, then killed the whale king and took its Whale Pearl and soul bone.

Lin Li subdued the Evil Eye Tyrant Sovereign, completed the Death God’s Eighth Trial, and turned to help Zhu Zhuqing obtain a Soul Ring. She brought Zhu Zhuqing to the Star Crown Sect and prepared an expedition into the Demon Forest.

• Lin Li reunited with Xu Ling, secured the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud from Heaven Dou City, and found the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan destroyed by Spirit Hall.
• Lin Li urged the grieving Yu Tianheng to seek vengeance, then left Dugu Yan and Dugu Bo to head for the Demon Forest.
• Lin Li defeated the Evil Eye Tyrant Sovereign, formed a contract with it, reached level ninety-nine, and completed the Death God’s Eighth Trial.
• The God of Death reinforced the Golden Dragon King’s prison and sealed its divine soul inside a blood-red Lycoris radiata.
• Lin Li met Zhu Zhuqing in Star Luo City, killed a woman who challenged her, and pressured Zhu Hun into promising to dissolve Zhu Zhuqing’s engagement to Dai Mubai.
