After the God of Death and Star God drove back the Asura God's projection, Lin Li killed Tang Chen and was told to inherit the God of Death's position.

• Xu Ling selected ten Star Crown Sect disciples for Lin Li to lead to the Demon Forest, while Lin Li told him Bibi Dong's divine trial had made war inevitable.
• Lin Li led the disciples into Demon Forest, found a rare Purple Crystal Gem Queen and Evil Eye Tyrants, and helped the group obtain Soul Rings.
• Lin Li found the Moon Spirit Golden Cat and made it Zhu Zhuqing's Spirit Soul, giving Zhu Zhuqing a Sixth Spirit Ring and a leg bone.

Lin Li entered the Death God’s Ninth Trial as Spirit Hall’s war spread and her phantom protected Zhou Yurou from Hu Liena’s attack. Tang San’s group completed the Sea God’s Sixth Trial and set out to retrieve the missing Heart of the Sea God, while Bibi Dong prepared to hunt the two emperor Soul Beasts.

• Lin Li entered the Death God’s Secret Realm, accepted the Ninth Trial, and confronted memories of Soul Town Village as she began forming the Death God Divine Armor.
• Xu Ling agreed to confront Spirit Hall’s advancing army, while Tang San and his companions completed their Sea God’s Fifth Trial and faced Bo Saixi’s Sixth Trial.
• Tang San’s group survived Bo Saixi’s attacks for an hour, and the Sea God told Bo Saixi that they needed to find the missing Heart of the Sea God.
• Bibi Dong sent Hu Liena, Xie Yue, Yan, and Ling Yuan Douluo to kill Zhou Yurou, but Lin Li’s phantom defeated Ling Yuan Douluo and forced Bibi Dong’s group to flee.
• Lin Li left Zhou Yurou a box of soul bones in Soul Town Village, but Zhou Yurou refused the gift as Bibi Dong grew more determined to punish Lin Li.
• Bibi Dong ordered an expedition to the Star Dou Great Forest to hunt the Sky Azure Bull Python and the Titan Giant Ape, while Tang San’s group left Sea God Island to search for the Heart of the Sea God.
• Tang San set out for the Star Dou Great Forest without telling Xiao Wu about his earlier ambush of Lin Li, as Spirit Hall’s force marched toward the forest.

Tang San protected Xiao Wu as Da Ming and Er Ming sacrificed themselves, while Lin Li intervened in Zhu Zhuqing’s engagement and arranged her divine trial. Lin Li then fell into a reincarnation that forced her to relive the abandonment and illness of her past life.

• Bibi Dong attacked Xiao Wu, Da Ming, and Er Ming, but Tang San arrived and fought to protect them.
• Da Ming and Er Ming sacrificed their spirit rings and spirit bones to Tang San, and Xiao Wu mourned them as Bibi Dong withdrew to pursue marked Spider Emperor Soul Beasts.
• The Sea God prepared Tang San’s Eighth Trial and stripped Bo Saixi of her personal sentiments, while Dai Mubai confronted Zhu Zhuqing over their broken engagement.
• Zhu Zhuqing broke through to Spirit Saint, and Lin Li appeared in the Star Luo Palace, punished Dai Mubai, and took Zhu Zhuqing away.
• Lin Li brought Zhu Zhuqing to the Sun Moon Continent, gave her a God-Bestowed Soul Ring, and Zhu Zhuqing completed the Fallen Goddess’s first trial with a Hundred-Thousand-Year spirit ring.

After killing Tang San and the remaining Shrek members, she seized Yu Xiaogang and faced Qian Renxue before an unknown force halted their clash.

• Lin Li died in LS, passed the Death God’s ninth trial, inherited the Star God’s power, and became a god with two divine positions.
• Lin Li refused to summon Lin Yan and Bai Yuan back from reincarnation, then left the Death God’s Secret Realm and defeated the Asura God before withdrawing.
• Lin Li returned to the Star Crown Sect, invited Xu Ling to accompany her to the God Realm, and decided she had to act on Douluo Continent again.
• Lin Li broke Sea God Island’s barrier, sealed Bo Saixi, and killed Tang San, Xiao Wu, Oscar, and the remaining Shrek members.
