Hoshiryu defeated the Mist forces attacking the Land of Whirlpools, then revived Hashirama and Tobirama and revealed his overwhelming strength. Tobirama became acting Hokage while Hoshiryu formed a team with Tsunade, Nonō, and Chiri, whose first spar ended with Tsunade winning.

• Mito and the other Kage were trapped by Madara, but Hoshiryu rescued Tsunade, Haru, and Nonō and drove Madara away.
• After Kirigakure attacked the Land of Whirlpools, Hoshiryu killed the Mist forces and the Third Mizukage, then covered the battlefield with a forest.
• Hoshiryu comforted Tsunade after she admitted she feared becoming a burden, then summoned Tobirama and Hashirama with his improved Impure World Reincarnation.
• Hashirama tested Hoshiryu’s strength, lost to his Nuclear Release and Rinnegan Susanoo, and the Sage of Six Paths fled after watching the fight.
• At the graduation ceremony, Hashirama announced his return, Tobirama agreed to serve as acting Hokage, and Hoshiryu set out with Hashirama and Mito to pursue Madara.
• Mito assigned Tsunade, Nonō, and Chiri to Hoshiryu’s team, and all three confessed that they loved him and wanted to stay with him.
• Tsunade defeated Nonō and Chiri in their spar, and Hoshiryu praised their strength before offering to cook for the new team.

Hoshiryu’s search for Madara led him through corruption in the Land of Fire and a mission in the Land of Snow, where he encountered Hinata and defeated Ōtsutsuki Isshiki. He captured Madara and brought him back to Konoha, where Hashirama and Mito confronted him.

• Hoshiryu took Tsunade, Nonō, and Zhili toward the Land of Snow, then uncovered a town’s exploitation and exposed Senju Daisuke’s role in concealing it with a noble and Konoha ninja.
• Hoshiryu visited the Daimyo Estate, helped Ken Sato carry out his revenge, and declared his intention to unify the Five Great Nations.
• Hoshiryu and his companions reached the prosperous Land of Snow, met Kazehana Hareyuki, and agreed to help restore trade routes blocked by Rogue Ninja.
• Hinata unleashed Shinra Tensei against the Rogue Ninja, drawing Ōtsutsuki Isshiki to her as Madara Uchiha tried to protect her.
• Hoshiryu arrived at the battlefield, stopped Ōtsutsuki Isshiki from escaping, and immobilized Madara while reassuring Hinata that she could take revenge herself.
• Hoshiryu brought Hinata to the Daimyo Estate, where Tsunade, Nonō, and Zhili welcomed her and shared a meal with her.
• Hoshiryu returned to Konoha with Madara captured, and Hashirama and Mito confronted him while Hoshiryu kept him restrained.

Hoshiryu became the Fifth Hokage and forced the other nations into a war that ended with their armies defeated. As he revealed the threats gathering around the moon, the Four Nations launched another assault, and Hoshiryu faced their allied army alone.

• Hoshiryu revived Madara Uchiha, reunited him with Izuna Uchiha, and helped Hinata kill Ōtsutsuki Isshiki with a sword that destroyed his soul.
• After three years of travel, Hoshiryu returned to a transformed Konoha, became the Fifth Hokage, and threatened to erase nations that lost the upcoming Chunin Exams.
• The Four Kage’s Chakra Cannon failed to penetrate Konoha’s barrier, and Hoshiryu killed the leaders and forces who chose to fight him.
• When the Four Nations invaded the Land of Fire, Hoshiryu sent Madara Uchiha and Tsunade, Nonō, Hinata, and Zhili to confront them, and each woman defeated her assigned enemy forces.
• Hoshiryu explained that Black Zetsu had manipulated Madara Uchiha and that the moon’s Otsutsuki descendants planned to destroy the world, then promised to stop them and end the age of Ninja Villages.
• The Four Great Nations declared war, and their armies were wiped out in a day, but Hoshiryu gave them another chance after calls for revenge spread.
• Fifty thousand allied ninjas approached Konoha, and Hoshiryu went to face them after their commanders argued over who would lead the assault.
• Hoshiryu told Chiyo that Konoha was taking revenge for the First Shinobi World War, then killed Dokuyo Kaguya instantly when he challenged him.

Hoshiryu unified the Ninja World, defeated the Sacred Timeline, and opened a gate to another world, where he rescued abducted children and confronted Sakura Country. The arc ended with Sakura Country’s ambassador arriving at the Lu Family birthday banquet as his forces prepared to attack.

• Hoshiryu defeated Kaguya Otsutsuki’s resistance, sealed her under his control, and forced the Ninja Villages to submit to Konoha’s new order.
• Hoshiryu defeated the Sacred Timeline’s will and made his world the new Sacred Timeline, then announced that he would take companions to another world.
• Hoshiryu, Kaguya Otsutsuki, Chika, Orochimaru, and Tobirama passed through the World Gate into a war-torn era and found children being abducted and abused.
• Chika attacked the child-trafficking gang while Hoshiryu repeatedly killed and revived its leader until he revealed that Sakura Country had bought the children.
• Hoshiryu and Kaguya Otsutsuki destroyed the Sakura Country Special Zone, while Orochimaru and Tobirama entered Sakura Country and attacked the Wei King’s palace.
• Hoshiryu reunited with Zhang Zhiwei and accepted an invitation to Old Man Lu’s birthday banquet, where he and his companions appeared before Zhang Jingqing and the gathered guests.
• When Sakura Country’s ambassador arrived with ronin and ninjas, Hoshiryu warned that unwelcome guests were coming and the ambassador’s forces prepared to release poison gas around the estate.
