Battle of the Absolute (Part 2)

When Rosen came to his senses, Shandong had already stepped forward and engaged the 'Gecko' in a fierce battle.

The 'Gecko' was covered in wounds after taking a full barrage of attacks, but its core remained unharmed. Aside from a slight sluggishness in its movements, the 'Gecko' was still fighting with ease.

Shandong, whose right hand was still unrepaired, was clearly at a disadvantage. He could only use his left hand to strike the 'Gecko's' head, but it was nimbly dodged. The 'Gecko' then raised its tail and swiped at Shandong's head.

At that very moment, Rosen's heart clenched again. He had originally thought Shandong would win easily, but now he suddenly realized Shandong's right hand was not fully repaired, and he was merely fighting on fumes.

This is bad... Rosen frowned, feeling annoyed. Shandong's right-hand injury was his own doing.

Struck on the head by the Kaiju, Shandong was clearly injured. He knelt on one knee. The 'Gecko' seized the opportunity and pressed forward, placing its forelimbs on Shandong's shoulders and violently shoving the crimson shadow away. Wherever they passed, small buildings crumbled.

BOOM!

Finally, they slammed into the west wall of the Shatterdome—less than 50 meters to Rosen's right.

The 'Gecko' and Shandong were right before their eyes, their massive bodies filling every inch of their vision!

The 'Gecko' attempted to attack Shandong's cockpit, while Shandong fiercely resisted, his left hand tightly gripping the 'Gecko's' maw. With every movement, dust flew and debris scattered!

Sun Zheng Tang no longer had time to be amazed. He roared, raising his assault rifle and opening fire on the 'Gecko's' head!

"You damn..." Sun Zheng Tang yelled as he strafed, "Rosen, you run! Go!"

The bullets struck the 'Gecko's' skin, creating bursts of fire but having no effect.

Meanwhile, Sun Zheng Tang, exerting all his might, found Rosen standing still—

Rosen was gazing intently at the giants locked in combat, the fire in his eyes burning ever brighter.

"Why aren't you running, you brat?! Are you looking for death?!" Sun Zheng Tang roared.

"We won't die, at least not today," Rosen said. "We're standing on the 'Hero's Proof,' aren't we? I can feel him already. He's coming in response to my call."

As they spoke, the 'Gecko' raised its tail and stabbed fiercely at Shandong. Shandong's left hand immediately grabbed it tightly, but the 'Gecko's' tongue took this chance to wrap around Shandong's left hand—if Shandong lost his left hand too, this Generation 8 Jaeger would be reduced to scrap metal!

"Lin Yin," Rosen said, a red light flashing in his eyes. "Now, I'll help you."

BANG!!

As soon as Rosen finished speaking, the outer wall of the Shatterdome to his right collapsed with a loud noise, instantly filling the air with dust—a rumbling sound emanated from the breach. Along with it came a bright red light.

The ear-splitting screech awakened Sun Zheng Tang's memories. He was too familiar with this sound; the engine startup was the unique signature of every Jaeger pilot. Sun Zheng Tang immediately looked in that direction!

Then—a giant silver-white hand emerged from the dust!

WHOOSH!

A silver flash streaked before their eyes, and the 'Gecko's' tongue was severed! The Kaiju let out a heart-wrenching wail!

Then the silver-white shadow fully appeared before them—it grabbed the 'Gecko' and pulled it off Shandong, crashing through a skyscraper, leaving a gaping hole behind. But the scene was fleeting. The

skyscraper, hollowed out from the lower half, collapsed with a roar, completely obscuring the figures of the two giants.

"What is this..." Sun Zheng Tang was completely stunned until Rosen snapped him back.

"Senior," Rosen said calmly. "The battle isn't over yet."
