"Lawyer"

The "Lawyer" possesses three extraordinary abilities. The first is spiritual enhancement, and the second is excellent analytical logic, which extends to the ability to strip away the non-essential from data to grasp the key points.

The third ability, which is also the core of the "Lawyer," is "Extraordinary Eloquence."

This grants the user extraordinary prowess in oratory and persuasion, allowing them to distort or guide a target's thoughts to a certain extent, making themselves appear approachable and trustworthy.

As a Primarch, he was destined to conquer Vostonia.

Of course, not every Primarch spent their time conquering their home world; even Horus, before awakening his genetic memories, was merely a gang youth who had not unified Cthonia.

After awakening, he returned to the Empire.

Regardless of the status of other Primarchs, Nimrod had already decided to conquer Vostonia, with plans to expand to other planets once the opportunity arose.

At the same time, he had to climb the sequence path, starting with acting as a "Lawyer" to digest his potion.

After consuming a potion, it is not fully absorbed; to obtain all the power contained within, one must engage in acting.

During the acting process, one must interpret the potion's name to derive its core symbolism and concrete imagery.

Nimrod believed that acting as a "Lawyer" did not necessarily require engaging in the literal profession.

Benefiting from the rules is acting as a "Lawyer," and if one can find loopholes in the rules and exploit them, the effect of the acting will be even better.

Whether his interpretation was correct would be revealed in time; a Beyonder can always perceive the digestion provided by the acting method.

[According to my understanding from my past life, as well as what I have seen and heard in Tezwork, the only rule in the Underhive is that matters within the dome are decided by the Arbites, while outside the dome, there are no rules.]

Thinking of this, Nimrod immediately conceived his next plan of action.

[As before, occupy the factory quickly.

If the Arbites intervene, I will use "Extraordinary Eloquence" to persuade them.]

With this in mind, he summoned Rawlslev to inquire about the situation at the Khanty-Mansi Dome.

He set his target as the dome's largest factory—the Magneto Steelworks—as all factories within the dome relied on the steel it produced.

The plastic-steel composite material produced by Magneto, Mithal Steel, even flowed into the Upper Hive to serve as material for manufacturing carapace armor.

The steelworks were controlled by "Iron Fist" Gorsk, who had over a thousand thugs under his command.

Nimrod also learned of the timekeeping method in Tezwork; a day in Vostonia, like in other Hive worlds, was called a work cycle.

Each work cycle lasted 33 hours and was divided into three shifts: the Bainiban, the Curiban, and the Nightfall Troupe.

Workers in the Upper Hive followed a strict three-shift rotation.

Work hours in the Underhive varied, but were generally longer than those in the Upper Hive.

Nimrod decided to launch the attack at the end of the Nightfall Troupe; although the workers' hours were irregular, the guards followed the three-shift rotation.

The final hour before their shift change, which coincided with the rising of the star obscured by industrial dust, was when they were at their most lax.

During the penultimate hour of the Nightfall Troupe, Nimrod stood upon a high platform, tapped his brow twice with his finger, and looked down at the crowd below.

A person's emotional state, or their "Astral Body," would have a slight external manifestation.

Beyonders possessing spirit vision could judge the health and emotional state of others through the varying thickness, brightness, and color of their auras.

He had previously examined his own physical state, and now he was observing the collective emotions of others.

Most psykers also possessed this ability, which the Thousand Sons called Aetheric Sight.

Nimrod scanned the crowd, and as expected, the dominant color of everyone's aura was a heavy black; they feared him.

Among them, some—especially Rawlslev and those who had eaten well earlier—had a hint of pale orange anticipation mixed into their auras.

He tapped his brow twice more to deactivate his spirit vision, then spoke.

"You should have understood over these past two days: the more you do, the more you get, but you don't know how much you can obtain."

"In the past, you followed your boss, fighting and killing, only to end up with scraps, and most of the time you weren't even full."

"It will be different from now on. As long as you are capable, you can eat anything. Today, I brought back giant rats, and I also brought back Las-Vault."

Nimrod's tone deepened as he tempted the crowd.

"Think about it: a bite of rat meat, a swig of Las-Vault."

His subordinates were captivated by the scene painted by the newly minted "Lawyer." Images involuntarily surfaced in their minds, and they swallowed their saliva subconsciously.

Rawlslev was the first to look up, his eyes filled with longing.

Those around him were influenced and followed suit, lifting their heads.

In the end, everyone looked at their boss with eyes shining with hope.

Nimrod raised his hand and swung it down forcefully: "Move out!"

"Seize the Magneto Steelworks, eat meat, and drink!"

Everyone followed with a fanatical shout: "Seize the Magneto Steelworks, eat meat, and drink!"

Seeing that everyone had turned, Nimrod lowered his arm and tapped his brow twice.

He found that the emotions of everyone had indeed changed; their dominant aura color had shifted to a passionate, excited red.

One stellar hour later, rapid gunfire erupted at the Magneto Steelworks.

After Nimrod killed the guards at the entrance, he charged into the Magneto Steelworks first, immediately spotting a tall, bearded man staring intently at him from the iron scaffolding platform.

The sleeve of his right arm was torn away, revealing a prosthetic limb made of steel.

"Nimrod."

Gorsk spoke with a tone of certainty, spitting on the ground.

"Kid, you've got some skill to have killed Vulture."

"But I'm not some piece of trash like Vulture. Today, I'm going to capture you, have some fun, and then sell you off to the Upper Hive."

His response was a beam of light. Seeing Nimrod raise his pistol, Gorsk cursed under his breath, only having enough time to shield his body with his steel right arm.

Amidst a sharp, crisp sizzling sound, a large hole was blasted through the steel arm, exposing the copper wiring and steel plates within.

"You brat, you dare launch a sneak attack!"

Gorsk swung his arm while clenching his fist, causing his steel hand to rotate and launch toward Nimrod like a projectile.

Relying on this mechanical arm, which he had purchased from House Finde at a high price, he had ambushed and killed several powerhouses in the Underhive.

Gorsk knew Nimrod's marksmanship was precise—he had nearly been killed by that shot just now—so he immediately unleashed his Iron Fist killing move, a technique he only used against the most formidable enemies.

Nimrod held his pistol in his left hand while rapidly drawing his Chainsword with his right, roaring it to life.

The structural schematics of the mechanical construct he had acquired earlier surfaced in his mind; he flicked his sword upward, driving the blade directly into the junction where the mechanical linkage met the joint.

The transmission device drove the Iron Fist forward, but it was jammed by the Chainsword.

Two high-speed, nearly perpendicular forces acted upon each other; seconds later, the Iron Fist detached from the linkage and clattered to the ground.

Gorsk was shocked and turned to run.

He had barely taken a step when a bright beam of light entered through the back of his head.

After one work cycle, Nimrod had seized control of the Magneto Steelworks.

His subordinates had increased rather than decreased; after absorbing some of the thugs from Iron Fist's gang, his combat personnel numbered nearly six hundred.

Nimrod personally led two hundred men into the tunnels to hunt over four hundred giant rats, fifty of which were traded for over a hundred bottles of Las-Vault.

As the meat broth simmered, he addressed the crowd.

"As I promised, everyone who participated in this battle gets their fill of meat and a cup of liquor."

"Those who just joined only get broth. If you want meat and liquor, work harder next time."

He activated his Spirit Vision to observe the auras of the crowd, finding that his original subordinates radiated a warm, satisfied orange, their gazes toward him shifting from fear to awe.

The newly recruited men, however, were a mix of fear, hope, and envy.

Nimrod nodded in satisfaction, feeling his own spirituality become more vibrant.

[Roleplaying as "Lawyer" successful, potion partially digested.]

Afterward, he went to the control room, locked the door, and with a thought, black mist rose and his spirituality lightened. His Astral Body left his physical form, instantly arriving in the Kingdom of Disorder.

The digestion of a potion involves absorbing the Beyonder characteristics within it, enhancing one's spirituality and extraordinary abilities.

For example, the digestion of a "Lawyer" lies in utilizing rules, especially loopholes in those rules. Of course, gaining the recognition of others accelerates the digestion progress. Maris, the Lesser God of Chaos, possessed an extremely high status and immense power. However, due to his chaotic nature, he relied on brute force to slaughter and did not involve himself in matters of order or rules; he would never be able to digest a "Lawyer" potion. Conversely, an ordinary lawyer might digest it after preparing for and concluding a major case (on a planetary scale), a member of the Legal Department might take a dozen days, and someone in the Ministry of Internal Affairs might take a month or so.
