After Nimrod stepped into the modification chamber, he stood before the cold operating table, his towering body blocking the view of everyone outside.
He looked at Rawlslev's corpse, a trace of sorrow flashing through his eyes, but he did not allow himself to sink into grief.
Perhaps, in a cruel world like this, death is an early release.
Nimrod thought silently, while sending Malena a Thought Impulse.

Hearing this, Malena turned her tea-brown eyes toward Rawlslev's corpse in confusion.
The information Nimrod had obtained from the Kingdom of Disorder let him know that after the Beyonders of this world died, they still followed the Law of Indestructibility of Beyonder Characteristics:
Beyonder Characteristics would not be destroyed and would not diminish. They would only transfer from one vessel to another.
He understood what this meant: after a Beyonder died, their Beyonder Characteristic would separate out from the corpse. It was roughly equivalent to the potion of the corresponding Sequence, only lacking the supplementary ingredients.
Nimrod also noticed that among the information the Kingdom of Disorder had poured into him, there was no Law of Conservation of Beyonder Characteristics.
He also knew that this world had no Creator who had created everything.
Nimrod still did not know the source of Beyonder Characteristics, nor did he know why potions possessed spirituality. He guessed that once he advanced to a high Sequence, as a Beyonder whose essence belonged to the Black Emperor pathway, he would be able to find the secret within.
Malena's tea-brown eyes stared fixedly at Rawlslev's corpse, and her pupils abruptly contracted.
She suddenly saw a deep crimson stirring in the palm of Rawlslev's right hand, which was covered in calluses from gripping weapons.
A thumb-sized, deep-crimson blood sphere burrowed out.
Nimrod had not prepared a storage container
