After a short break, Aoko returned to the classroom to continue her exams.

For subjects like mathematics, given the current difficulty level of exams at Misaki Private High School, Aoko could have written down the correct answers with her eyes closed. She finished the entire exam paper in about a third of the allotted time. Or rather, most of the time Aoko spent during the exam was spent on writing.

For subjects like chemistry, which she wasn't very proficient in during her "previous life," it was one of the few subjects Aoko needed to dedicate some time to memorizing and studying. However, thanks to the bonus from her high intelligence stat, the high school level of chemistry was not difficult for Aoko at all.

Some might ask, doesn't the field of Magecraft have Alchemy? Then why does Aoko need to study chemistry separately?

This is because true Alchemy mostly follows logical principles different from chemistry, which is what is called "Occult Theory." Aoko was once very curious: how could heavy elements like gold, which are only produced during stellar collapse, be manufactured through Alchemy?

Therefore, Aoko finally deduced that alchemists on Earth actually used some kind of "substitution" Magecraft to swap specific metals with gold located somewhere on the planet, thus achieving the so-called "turning stone into gold" effect.

The reason it didn't reach the level of "Magic" is because the Magus were actually taking shortcuts, Aoko thought arrogantly.

Having finished her exams early, Aoko went to the school cafeteria alone to enjoy her lunch. Although the food in the school cafeteria was only average, Aoko ate with great relish. She ordered a bowl of beef udon and sat alone in a corner of the cafeteria, eating and thinking about the new spell she had acquired during her morning meditation.

The Sapphire Guard, like the Emerald Burst from the Evocation school, consumed an expensive gem upon use. Aoko didn't know if artificial gems could be used as a substitute. If she had to spend so much money every time she cast a spell, it would indeed be too unprofitable.

Although Aoko was confident in her ability to make money and wouldn't fall into the same predicament as Rin Tohsaka, obtaining cheap and useful spellcasting materials was ultimately a good thing.

The udon noodles had a good texture. As Aoko was finishing her meal, other students gradually started coming into the cafeteria.

Just as Aoko finished her udon noodles and was about to leave the cafeteria, a boy sat down in the seat opposite her.

Aoko looked up and almost burst out laughing. Wasn't this Tsukashi Tsurumaru?

His usually meticulously styled slicked-back hair was a bit messy, his expression was listless, and he had heavy dark circles under his eyes. The vice president of the student council looked at Aoko mournfully.

"President, you're not going to run away after the exam today, are you?" Tsukashi Tsurumaru said.

"What do you mean run away?" Aoko said with some displeasure. "This is called using talent wisely! People with ability should bear more responsibility. Vice President Tsukashi, since you are so good at handling the daily affairs of the student council, you naturally have to take on more."

"Then you should be even more obligated to stay and work in the student council!" Tsukashi Tsurumaru said fiercely. "Do you know how I've been these past few days? I had to prepare for exams while also dealing with student council work. I'm not like someone with the top deviation value who gets full marks on every exam!"

"Ah! President Aoko, Vice President Tsukashi!" A clear and cheerful voice came from a distance. Aoko looked up and saw Kumari Kanroku, the treasurer of the student council.

She ran over with her food, first glancing at Vice President Tsukashi Tsurumaru, then giving a subtle look at President Aoko sitting opposite him, before unhesitatingly sitting down next to Tsukashi Tsurumaru.

Aoko had long known that Kumari Kanroku had a crush on the handsome Vice President Tsukashi Tsurumaru. However, Tsukashi Tsurumaru was one of the first people in the school to show interest in Aoko. But before he could make a move, he happened to witness Aoko ruthlessly rejecting all the boys and girls who sent her love letters in the school, so he pulled back from the brink and abandoned this affection that had ended before it even began.

Later, during their time working on student council matters, the closer Tsukashi Tsurumaru got to Aoko, the more he understood her true nature. She was someone from a completely different world than his. He realized that although Aoko was usually polite, beneath that perfect facade lay arrogance and ruthlessness towards others.

This wasn't the kind of condescension that stemmed from status or wealth, but rather a biological-level contempt that Aoko felt towards others.

Tsukashi Tsurumaru doubted his own judgment. After all, no matter what, weren't you, Aoko Aozaki, and I, Tsukashi Tsurumaru, both human? But perhaps it was all just his misunderstanding, because he felt that Aoko herself didn't even notice anything wrong with her attitude towards others.

Perhaps in Aoko Aozaki's eyes, Tsukashi Tsurumaru was no different from any ordinary student she encountered on campus or the flowers and grass by the roadside. This understanding of the situation finally calmed Tsukashi Tsurumaru down, and he let go of his feelings for Aoko Aozaki.

Tsukashi Tsurumaru had calmed down, but the student council treasurer was not. Kumari Kanroku had liked Tsukashi Tsurumaru for many years, even starting this unrequited love journey in middle school.

When she learned that Tsukashi Tsurumaru had given up pursuing Aoko, Kumari Kanroku's wilting maiden's heart immediately rekindled. She immediately applied for the student council treasurer position, and after passing the assessment set by Aoko, the petite beautiful girl finally successfully joined the student council of Misaki Private High School.

In Kumari Kanroku's opinion, the Vice President worked so hard precisely to please the absent President Aoko who was absent every other day! This man must still have feelings for Aoko Aozaki, and she had to keep a close eye on him!

Aoko didn't look back, just waved her hand, and then left the cafeteria.
