The main reason Aoko Aozaki could use such an outrageous magecraft as the one she had named Incineration Formula: Blue was that, through the use of the Fifth Magic, she had temporarily forced every Aoko Aozaki across all timelines to merge into her main body.
This differed from Zelretch's Second Magic. Aoko's method was actually closer to Goetia's. In other words, by "burning" a small portion of the universe's lifespan, she forcibly gathered previously unrelated parallel timelines around the point known as "Aoko Alter."
So Aoko did not need to worry about this anomaly of hers affecting the personalities of other Aokos in parallel worlds. What she had done was essentially treat her counterparts in those parallel worlds as temporary "ammunition packs." Could a person be possessed by a bullet?
With a single beam cannon, she had burned straight through a small mountain. Aoko had been so thrilled she nearly ascended to heaven. No wonder so many people in this world liked using beam cannons.
Even so, Aoko still felt that the Fifth Magic should not be used too frequently.
After all, whenever she truly used the Fifth Magic on a large scale, all sorts of bizarre people would jump out and fight her to the death under excuses like upholding justice for the world. It gave her such a headache.
In comparison, although the power she had gained from the Magic Network Fragment system was currently far inferior to that of a Magician, its advantage was that it was a system she could accumulate over time without any side effects.
As long as her caster level was high enough, combined with conventional magecraft, she believed she could easily handle most enemies.
When Aoko dealt with Touko, she might have won with apparent ease, but in truth, she had been extremely careful with her output after using the Fifth Magic.
After all, she had not truly wanted to kill Touko. Even when she used the beam cannon at the end, it had merely looked frightening, meant only to make Touko suffer a little. She had carefully diverted the main force of the blast away from Touko's position.
Touko Aozaki in the original timeline had been extremely twisted. That old bastard had raised her into someone who could be said to possess almost no morality or familial affection, someone who occasionally went completely insane. She had been terrifying.
But thanks to the efforts made in this timeline, Touko's current state could not exactly be called normal, yet she was certainly much more lovable than the cold-blooded "Red of Pain" from the original timeline. As an older sister, she was usable if one made do.
Still, Aoko remained dissatisfied with the results of her "education," so this time, she decided to use some special measures...
Pushing open a door inside a building near the battlefield, Aoko instantly returned to the living room of the Kuonji residence through the barrier effect of the Mirror of Noon Nap.
She tossed the thing slung over her shoulder, bundled up like a rice dumpling, onto the sofa, then collapsed beside it like an office worker after a full day of work, looking utterly useless.
"You won?" Alice Kuonji, her housemate, came down the stairs at that moment and immediately asked when she saw Aoko return.
"Against Touko? Easy!" Aoko boasted, making a V sign.
"What is this?" Alice asked as she looked at the "rice dumpling" on the sofa.
"This is Touko." Aoko's answer was concise. She pulled aside one end of the bundle, revealing someone's adorable little face inside, though she was still unconscious.
"...How did she end up like this?" Alice came over curiously as well and pinched Touko's delicate cheek.
"I made her drink a members-only mysterious beverage!" Aoko declared smugly, looking delighted that her idea had actually worked.
Aoko's noisy chatter eventually woke Touko, who had merely been temporarily unconscious. She let out an especially adorable little "Mmm..." and gradually came to.
Little Touko first struggled to open her eyes, then discovered that both Aoko and Alice were staring at her with gleeful, mocking expressions. That look instantly scared Touko fully awake!
She struggled to jump up, only to find herself tightly wrapped in some kind of cloth, while the rope around it swayed its end at her like a snake.
"Aoko!" Touko demanded in a slightly shrill, childish voice. "What is going on?!"
"Aha," Aoko said teasingly as she looked at Touko. "Of course, we're going to do something interesting."
"But first, Touko, you need to change what you call me," Aoko said with a malicious smile. "Starting today, you will call me Big Sister Aoko."
"Huh?" Touko looked at Aoko with an expression that said, What kind of madness has gotten into this stupid little sister? She was utterly baffled.
Aoko did not bother explaining. She merely snapped her fingers, and the animated rope binding Touko untied itself before coiling into a circle off to one side.
Seeing this, Touko hurriedly struggled free from the cloth wrapped around her.
But the moment she got out, she saw that she was completely naked...
Touko's cheeks instantly flushed red. She immediately covered her chest with both hands and glared at Aoko in front of her in embarrassed fury.
Yet Touko was astonished to find that neither Aoko nor Alice reacted as though they had seen a naked girl their own age. Instead...
Touko immediately lowered her hands and looked down at her chest.
...It was completely flat. There was nothing there.
Touko's figure had originally been inferior to Aoko's, but it definitely had not been small. Yet now, she found that she had become flat-chested again...
Not only was she flat-chested, but after standing on the carpet, she realized that she still had to look up at Aoko and Alice. That was far too terrifying.
Touko raised her arms and looked at her soft, pink little hands, as well as her tender, short limbs. She immediately understood what had happened to her.
Touko Aozaki had become young again.
"What exactly did you make me drink?!" Little Touko picked up the cloth again and wrapped herself in it. Whether or not she was a child now, running around naked was still not a good idea.
"This is your punishment, Touko." Aoko took out that suspicious glass bottle and spoke to Touko. Only half of the liquid remained inside. "This is one of that old man's precious collectibles. So, do you like it?"
Touko desperately searched through her knowledge, trying to figure out what strange thing she had been fed. In the end, her face darkened as she reached a conclusion. It was very likely the elixir of rejuvenation from Mesopotamian mythology! Why did that old bastard even have something like this?!
"Why did you do this?" Touko said, forcing her exquisitely doll-like little face into a serious expression, though she already knew the answer in her heart.
Both Aoko and Alice beside her were amused by the sight. Who could have imagined that Touko could become this adorable?
"Because I think you grew up crooked, Touko. That's all because I failed to educate you properly," Aoko said hypocritically, putting on a self-reproachful expression as she shook her head and sighed. "So I've decided to become the older sister and educate you all over again, turning you into a better person!"
This sisterly relationship was far too twisted.
Sitting to one side, Alice Kuonji calmly drank her tea and thought, entirely unconcerned.
