After a flurry of activity, Aoko finally sorted out the identity issues for the two girls—meaning she organized the information and handed it over to her nominal father to handle. Kohaku and Hisui had nominally become the adopted daughters of Aoko's nominal father, changing their surnames from Mikan Kohaku and Mikan Hisui to Aozaki. Legally, they had become the younger sisters of Aoko and Touko.

It was already nearing the end of November, and she had begun making preparations for the first round of the Center Exam and her early application to the University of Tokyo in December.

But given Aoko's intelligence and breadth of knowledge, she had no need to study desperately like the other examinees. She only needed to review all the knowledge she would use.
