Ling Feng joined Team 233 as its assistant, used his unusual Stigmata skills and Chiyou to help the team, and grew closer to Mei as she struggled with her Herrscher power and her father’s imprisonment. After Mei’s power nearly overwhelmed her and Ling Feng was badly injured saving her, the story left Kiana and Mei quietly navigating their feelings for him.

• Ling Feng awoke aboard the Hyperion with memories of an ancient era, joined St. Freya Academy as Team 233’s assistant, and discovered his damaged body could not safely use energy.
• Ling Feng used Chiyou’s God-Slaying Armor to defeat Anti-Entropy mechs, then began imprinting stronger Stigmata for Mei and other Valkyries.
• Kiana, Mei, and Bronya stopped the Moonlight Throne from crashing into Shanghai, where Mei awakened the Third Herrscher’s power and destroyed an Emperor-class Honkai Beast.
• Mei told Ling Feng she wanted to become an S-rank Valkyrie to find evidence clearing her imprisoned father, and Ling Feng agreed to help her.
• During a later outbreak, Mei’s Herrscher power turned against Kiana, and Ling Feng and Bronya helped restore Mei’s consciousness at the cost of Ling Feng’s severe injuries.
• After Chiyou repaired Ling Feng, he learned Himeko’s health had worsened, while Mei, Kiana, and Bronya secretly traveled to Shanghai and returned with a phone for him.
• Kiana and Mei each sought advice about a friend’s feelings for Ling Feng, then tacitly set aside Kiana’s secret kiss and Mei’s discovery of it.

Ling Feng took Mei to Neon to retrieve her father's Plasma Shadow Show, but Anti-Entropy's attack triggered Kiana's transformation into the Queen and Mei's Herrscher awakening. After Ling Feng contained the Queen and brought her back to St. Freya, he began helping her eat while Mei struggled with guilt and her unstable power.

• Ling Feng imprinted the Queen Stigmata on Kiana, but stopped trying to give Mei a five-star Stigmata when her energy became unstable.
• Ling Feng took Mei, Kiana, and Bronya to Neon aboard the Moonlight Throne, where Rita joined them and Mei retrieved her father's Plasma Shadow Show from ME Company.
• Cocolia's forces attacked the group's tram, and Mei awakened as the Herrscher of Thunder while Kiana's Queen Stigmata let the Queen take control of her body.
• The Queen attacked the city and captured Mei, but Ling Feng and Rita fought her, after Rita was killed, Ling Feng rewound time, trapped the Queen, and drained her power.
• Ling Feng brought the Queen and the rescued Mei to St. Freya, where Tesla found Mei stable but at greater risk of Herrscherification and the Queen vowed to destroy humanity.
• Chiyou warned Ling Feng that he might have less than a month to live unless he found Shennong, while Ling Feng coaxed the Queen to eat and named her Consort Ai.
• Mei told Ling Feng she blamed herself for Kiana's capture, and he comforted her before an electric shock interrupted their kiss and blue currents appeared across her body.

Ling Feng’s final battle against Gaia’s leader destroyed his body, and the Queen sacrificed the Space Gem to save him before revealing that she had preserved her consciousness in their Imaginary Space. After reuniting with the Queen, Ling Feng returned to his companions and learned more about Fu Hua’s long history and strength.

• Mei learned to channel the Conquest Gem’s power into her Thunder Shadow Blade, while Ling Feng trained her and investigated the five linked ruins.
• Ling Feng joined the mission to protect miku, then skipped her concert to spend an evening with the Queen before a Honkai outbreak struck the venue.
• Ling Feng destroyed Gaia’s generator and fought alongside Fu Hua, Mei, and the others against Ganesha and Gaia’s leader.
• Ling Feng used Limit Break to kill Ganesha and destroy the leader’s consciousness, but his body began to dissolve when the power ended.
• Durandal tried to restore Ling Feng with Black Abyss White Flower, but the Ganesha core failed, so the Queen gave him the Space Gem and vanished from the real world.
• Ling Feng found the Queen’s consciousness preserved in a crystal in Imaginary Space, where she explained how she had survived and reunited with him.

Ling Feng joined Fu Hua in a dangerous memory dive that revealed their connection in the Previous civilization and left Fu Hua with recovered power and a renewed relationship with him. An attack on Ein raised suspicions about Cocolia, while Ling Feng trained with the Queen and Fu Hua and faced growing romantic complications.

• Ling Feng furnished a cottage for the Queen in Imaginary Space while Mei and Rita competed for his attention at the academy.
• Tesla sent Ling Feng and Fu Hua into a linked memory dive, where Ling Feng rescued Chiyuan and witnessed Mei prepare her to fight the gods through Limit Break.
• Ling Feng and Fu Hua awoke from the dive, and Fu Hua recovered Feathered Dust and the power sealed within her Phoenix Seal.
• Tesla consulted Einstein about their altered memories and physical changes, and Ein proposed that dream events could become reality through observers.
