"Let's Surrender"

From high above, the street network of the UED capital looked like a lake struck by stones. Ripples of chaos spread rapidly from several points.

Several Carcharodons veterans in Terminator Armor cut through the UED's defenses like red-hot ice axes, tearing open one horrifying breach after another.

At a military checkpoint in the northwest corner of the city, four defenders in mechanical exoskeletons scanned their surroundings nervously.

Their helmet displays were filled with gibberish, and their communications channel crackled with harsh static. Clearly, Wise AI's electronic warfare was at work.

Suddenly, the air three meters away warped. Amid blue-white teleportation light, a bloodstained suit of Terminator Armor appeared.

"Open fire! Hurry!"

The captain roared and pulled the trigger.

Rifle rounds formed a web of orange-red fire, only to bounce off the Storm Shield's energy field before they could hit. They gouged dozens of shallow craters into the walls along the street.

The Carcharodons veteran under attack did not even raise his weapon.

He drew his left leg half a step back. The hydraulics in his Power Armor hummed as they built up force. Then—

The soldier in front was smashed into a blur of flesh and blood. His exoskeleton's metal frame twisted into a grotesque shape and embedded itself in the wall.

The second soldier barely had time to look terrified before a Power Claw pierced his chest and crushed his still-beating heart in its grip.
