After finishing Luisa's interrogation, Roland did not hurry away. Instead, he climbed to the very top of the Mage Tower with a hint of anticipation, intending to strike while the iron was hot and take Olivia in one fell swoop.
Yet when he reached the top floor, Roland was immediately dumbfounded. At some point, the entire floor had become covered in layers of magical restrictions, radiating an incomparably dangerous aura.
Roland secretly tested them. Even with his authority over the Mage Tower, he could not remove the restrictions before him. This made him call out in dissatisfaction:
"Mentor Olivia, what is the meaning of this?"

Olivia's cold voice came from behind the door.
"You're not guarding against me, are you?"

Roland curled his lip. Seeing that Olivia had no intention of removing the restrictions, he gave up on his plans.

"Mentor Olivia, then I'll come seek your guidance again after I finish my work in a while."
"That damn bastard."
Inside the bright and spacious laboratory, Olivia's face was still flushed. Listening to Roland call her "mentor" and himself "student" over and over, she felt both embarrassed and angry, and could not help roaring viciously:
"Get lost! Don't ever come back!"
"Hmph, if I stop coming just because you tell me to, wouldn't that be humiliating?"
Roland said smugly, but the moment his words fell, the magical restrictions on both sides suddenly blazed with light. Dense tides of flame rapidly formed several ferocious Flame Hounds in midair, and they bared their fangs as they lunged at Roland.
