Background / History

Roland's body was originally inhabited by a neglected son of the Solomon Family. Li Chen transmigrated into it and adopted Roland's name and identity, inheriting the predecessor's memories, hostility toward the Solomon Family, and desire to escape its control. 3 6

Soon after returning to the Fortress of Radiance, Roland was humiliated and injured by Alinur Solomon. Junot arranged for him to study under the Bloodline Alchemist Garfield, but Roland avoided becoming experimental material by invoking his pre-existing Pioneer Knight registration and leaving for Highland City. 4 5 6

In Highland City, Roland formally registered as a Terra Kingdom Pioneer Knight. He received three months to prepare for a pioneering expedition into the Sea of Ten Thousand Islands, where he intended to establish an independent territory far from the Solomon Family. 8

Roland founded his initial settlement on Qiming Island, later associated with Rising Light Island and Ironflow Island. His potion refining funded slaves, farmland, docks, a shipyard, magical-beast breeding, mage training, and an expanding private army. 20 32 47 54 61
