After subduing Hypnos, Roland did not rush to leave. Instead, he chose to remain where they were for another half month. Only after Alredo returned, and Roland personally used the Law Contract Scroll to place another safeguard on Hypnos, did he lead the exploration team onward once more.

Over the following days, Roland no longer continued scavenging resources from either side of the passage. After all, they were drawing ever closer to the island at the end of the passage. Dylan Fikernando and Junot needed to remain in peak condition at all times, prepared for an attack from the three Legendary Thunder Beasts on that island.

Thus, even though many priceless resources appeared in the surrounding waters over the next few days, Roland gave them all up and slowly sailed toward their final destination.

Ten days passed like this, and at last, a massive island appeared before Roland.

This island at the end of the passage was enormous. From the sea, the naked eye could not see where either side of the island ended. Only by flying into the sky could one barely observe its full outline through layers of mist.

The entire island covered roughly thirty thousand square kilometers, not much different from the other islands in the Sea of Hope. Aside from the area enveloped by the passage, the rest of the island was barren and lifeless, not a blade of grass in sight.

"Father-in-law, can you determine the locations of the three Legendary Thunder Beasts on the island?" Roland asked gravely.

Dylan Fikernando shook his head slightly. "In an environment like this, as long as they do not take the initiative to attack and reveal their aura, even a Legendary Mage will not be able to sense the locations of Legendary Thunder Beasts."

Roland's expression darkened further.
