Scalding blood mist churned above the battlefield, and shrill war horns tore through the crimson sky.

This entire force consisted of Mid-tier Demon minotaurs. Every one of them stood a full three meters tall, clad head to toe in armor and wielding battle axes. Flanking the tens of thousands of minotaurs were several thousand even more massive balrogs, their bodies wreathed in raging flames. Beside them lay enormous boulders.

Above the minotaurs, vast numbers of succubi circled through the air, while ranks of Demon Mages in black robes gathered behind them.

As for the humans, although they possessed an exceptionally sturdy major city, a stretch of northern wall spanning more than ten miles had vanished into thin air.

Though emergency repairs had erected several low defensive lines of massive stones, they remained riddled with holes. Many gaps could only be held with the flesh and blood of soldiers.

The battle erupted in an instant. Shielded by the Demon Mages, tens of thousands of minotaurs successfully endured the humans' Mage Regiment barrage and charged fiercely into the human lines.

As battle axes swung, the human shield wall was torn apart as easily as paper. Under the minotaurs' immense strength, countless soldiers were crushed into pulp together with their flesh, armor, and steel.
