This should have been an exceptionally peaceful day, but the official announcements from the two great empires gave it far-reaching significance.

In later generations, this day drew mixed praise and criticism.

Some called it Unification Day, believing that the Arcane Empire and the Sacred Alliance Empire had laid the foundation for the great integration of humanity.

Others called it Victory Day. It was on this very day that humanity's advantage was completely established, while the various nonhuman races began to decline.

But regardless of how later generations judged it, the actions of the Arcane Empire and the Sacred Alliance Empire plunged every race and nation across the continent into utter shock.

The Arcane Empire and the Sacred Alliance Empire dispatched troops to punish the nations of the continent on the grounds that they had violated the Human Alliance's Truce Order and shown disrespect toward the Human Alliance.

Meanwhile, the five Imperial Electors of the Sacred Alliance Empire split into four armies, marching through borrowed territory as they simultaneously advanced upon the four kingdoms of Cardina, Mountain, Ironshield, and Lance.
