Volume 1, Chapter 13: The 'Promising' Su Xing. Tang San knelt on the ground, turned his head to look at Su Xing beside him, and asked. Hearing this, Tang San was slightly stunned, while Grandmaster's expression turned somewhat gloomy; it was obvious that Su Xing's remark had just wounded his self-esteem. Immediately after, Grandmaster went on to tell Tang San a great deal about his theories regarding mutated Martial Souls.

"That kid in the back is also quite strange, with the look of a nouveau riche. He went to the dormitory building where the noble students live; his days ahead probably won't be easy." After a few seconds of silence, Grandmaster took a deep breath and said, "Let's go. I will take you to the Academic Affairs Office to register your student status and collect your school uniforms."

Could Brother Su also have Twin Martial Souls? At this moment, Tang San was completely bewildered by Grandmaster's words. He only felt that this man was incredibly impressive, being able to deduce that he had Twin Martial Souls based solely on a simple Spirit Proof.

"These two work-study students are truly more eccentric than the last. The one in front is apprenticing himself to that clown, Grandmaster. When have those Ten Core Theories of Martial Souls ever been verified? To dare call his theories invincible is just too ridiculous."

"What's wrong? Is there a problem?" Su Xing couldn't help but smile.

As for Su Xing, the cheater, Grandmaster's theories were completely inapplicable to him. After all, if one had to be constrained by rules while using cheats, then what was the point of cheating at all?

"Uh..." Director Su looked at the Gold Soul Coins in Su Xing's hand, his eyes going straight. He paused for a moment, coughed, and said, "What you're saying isn't impossible. Everything is negotiable, after all."

Having said that, Grandmaster helped Tang San up, took his hand, and walked toward the Nuoding Academy Academic Affairs Office, while Su Xing followed happily behind them.

After a long while, Director Su was still buried in his own work, leaving Su Xing and Tang San aside as if they didn't exist.

After speaking, Tang San knelt on the ground with a thud and kowtowed to Grandmaster to acknowledge him as his teacher.

Director Su once thought he had misheard.

Not long after Su Xing walked out of the Academic Affairs Office, mocking voices came from inside.

After a few simple pleasantries, Director Su handed Su Xing an exquisite school uniform and said with a smile, "You kid, you're not bad; you have a future! Go to the single room in Room 3 of the noble dormitory building. I will instruct the teacher there to arrange it for you."

Grandmaster sighed and said to Tang San, "You register here yourself; these teachers will tell you what to do. I'll leave first, and I will come to find you later."

However, when it was time to assign a dormitory to Su Xing, he suddenly said, "Director Su, I'm not used to shared dorms. Could you see if you can arrange a single room for me?"

Su Xing took three Gold Soul Coins from his pocket, weighed them lightly in his hand, and added, "Alright, in that case, a shared dorm it is."

Grandmaster nodded, turned around, and left the Academic Affairs Office.

Soon, Su Xing arrived at the entrance of the noble dormitory building...

Hearing Tang San's address to Grandmaster, everyone in the Academic Affairs Office burst into laughter and began pointing at Tang San.

Tang San looked at Su Xing in utter astonishment.

Seeing this scene, Su Xing felt speechless. Did Tang San really not know that his Innate Full Soul Power was due to his cultivation of the Mysterious Heaven Skill?

Su Xing scratched his head and gave another awkward smile.

To be fair, Grandmaster guessing that Tang San and Su Xing had Twin Martial Souls based solely on a Spirit Proof was a complete bluff.

"Alright, thank you, Director Su. You really are a reasonable person." Su Xing took the uniform and walked out happily.

I'll just refuse to admit it, what can you do to me?

"That's more like it."

"No, I don't think he can help me with anything." Su Xing shook his head.

Su Xing knew very well that Grandmaster's theories only applied to the natives of the Douluo Continent and were not applicable to those from outside it.

"Is that so?"

"You, a work-study student from the boondocks, deserve a single room? Your parents sent you here to study hard, not to enjoy yourself," Director Su said impatiently.

"Grandmaster, please don't talk nonsense. How could I possibly have Twin Martial Souls?"

Tang San was able to awaken Twin Martial Souls because his parents' Martial Souls were both powerful—the Blue Silver Emperor and the Clear Sky Hammer—not because his Blue Silver Grass Martial Soul was too weak to satisfy the Innate Full Soul Power requirement.

Grandmaster placed the two Spirit Proofs on the table and said to an elderly teacher, "Director Su, these are the work-study students sent from Holy Soul Village this year. Could you please help register them?"

Glancing around with his peripheral vision to ensure there were no outsiders, Director Su then said in a serious tone, "Oh my, it is indeed what I dropped... Thank you. You really are a good child who doesn't pocket what you find. Alright, let's talk about the dormitory arrangements."

Hearing this, Director Su pulled his reading glasses down a bit and looked at Su Xing speechlessly, questioning, "You, a work-study student, want me to arrange a single room for you?"

Under Su Xing's urging, their registration was quickly completed. Tang San was assigned to Room 7 of the dormitory building. He took his uniform and turned to leave the Academic Affairs Office.

Hearing this, Tang San nodded and said respectfully, "Goodbye, teacher."

"Alright, Grandmaster, just leave them there. I'll help them register once I finish what I'm doing," Director Su said without looking up. It was clear he didn't place much importance on work-study students.

"What are you still messing around with? Don't you see we've been waiting here for a long time?" Su Xing finally couldn't help but shout sternly.

"Alright, stop badmouthing Grandmaster. Grandmaster is, after all, a friend of the Dean." Director Su glared at the group and reminded them.

It had nothing to do with his theories. Tang San having Innate Full Soul Power was mostly due to his cultivation of the Mysterious Heaven Skill; otherwise, when Tang San awakened, his Mysterious Heaven Skill would not have been drawn to that soul power testing orb.

This intelligence was truly something else; being led around by the nose by others without even realizing it.

The dormitory buildings of Nuoding Academy were all located in the northern part of the academy, so they weren't hard to find.

Su Xing gave an awkward smile.
