Hawking joined Xavier’s students and allies to rescue Professor X from Stryker’s base, then clashed with S.H.I.E.L.D. when they tried to take the X-Men into custody. A full-moon transformation revealed that Hawking could control his Great Ape form, while a new Harry Potter template expanded his abilities.

• Hawking joined Wanda and Pietro’s family, moved with them to New York, and enrolled at Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters.
• When Stryker’s soldiers attacked the school and stole Cerebro, Hawking used the Goku Template to help Wolverine rescue the students and destroy the attackers’ helicopters.
• Hawking joined Wolverine, Storm, Magneto, and their allies in locating Stryker’s base beneath Alkali Lake and rescuing Professor X.
• At the base, Hawking defeated mind-controlled Cyclops, then killed Mastermind to free Professor X from his illusion and stop Magneto’s plan to target humanity.
• S.H.I.E.L.D. arrived and fought the X-Men, but Hawking’s Kamehameha failed to stop Captain Marvel, and he transformed into a Great Ape after losing his sunglasses beneath the full moon.
• After the Great Ape battle ended and S.H.I.E.L.D. demanded that Professor X come in for questioning, Hawking drew the Harry Potter Template and discovered he could suppress the Great Ape’s rage and control the transformation.

Hawking helped secure an uneasy agreement between S.H.I.E.L.D., Professor X, and Magneto, then focused on training and advancing his magic. He went to New York to establish himself as a superhero, took control of the Daily Bugle’s coverage, and began looking for Peter Parker.

• Hawking and Professor X outmaneuvered Nick Fury during negotiations, and Hawking freed Magneto and Mystique before Professor X brought Colonel Stryker to S.H.I.E.L.D.
• Hawking secretly poisoned Stryker with transfigured water, and Stryker died during interrogation as Agent Hill uncovered a Hydra spy.
• S.H.I.E.L.D. agreed to stop monitoring Mutants and support the Mutant Affairs Department, while Magneto agreed to halt terrorist attacks under Professor X’s supervision.
• Hawking trained at X-Academy, gained Beast’s help enchanting his Ebony Ring, and began using Wanda’s Chaos Magic as part of his workouts.
• Hawking persuaded Professor X to test a plan to improve Mutants’ public image by becoming Super Heroes, then flew to New York and stopped crimes as the God of War.
• After learning which rescues earned the most Justice Points, Hawking returned to the school and discovered that Professor X had bought the Daily Bugle for him.

Hawking recruited Peter, Jessica, Eddie, and Venom while building the Hero Alliance and pursuing partnerships with Oscorp and Reed Richards. After stopping a hijacked plane and confronting the Life Foundation’s symbiotes, Hawking defeated Riot, who remained alive but badly wounded.

• Hawking recruited Peter to patrol Queens and later formed a team with him, while Jessica joined after Hawking rescued her from a rooftop and helped her understand her new powers.
• Hawking fought the Green Goblin, then persuaded Norman Osborn to cooperate on a new company and investigate Oscorp’s directors.
• Hawking, Peter, and Jessica rescued 212 passengers from a hijacked plane, and Hawking invited people with special abilities to join the Hero Alliance.
• Hawking negotiated with Victor so Reed Richards could pursue his Solar Storm project, securing Reed’s promise to research a gravity device afterward.

When Magneto and Apocalypse abducted Professor X, Hawking gathered the X-Men and his allies to confront them in Cairo, where the rescue interrupted Apocalypse’s ritual but left Hawking facing the regenerating mutant.

• Hawking loaded Naruto’s template, summoned Gamabunta, and arranged to meet the Toad Clan at Mount Myōboku, where he explained his connection to Naruto and the Nine-Tails.
• Hawking spent Christmas with the Maximoff family, then investigated S.H.I.E.L.D.’s anti-mutant weapons and discussed Magneto’s plans with Professor X and Magneto.
• Pierce ordered Hydra to assassinate Nick Fury, and Hawking’s team defeated the attackers, including Hydra Steve Rogers in the Hydra Stomper, while Hawking rescued Fury.
