Instead, he changed course, made a wide circle, and tunneled back underground to the place where Scorpion had been killed.

When Kakuzu circled back, he found that Chiyo had arrived before him.
Chiyo only relaxed when she looked up and saw Kakuzu. She knew he was her grandson's companion.
