"Lord Shamu."
Kyoko was about to stand.
Shamu gently pressed her shoulder, making her sit back down.
"You're pregnant. Why are you still bowing?"
"Boss!" Kisame bared his teeth.
Shamu patted Kisame's gray skin. "I didn't expect you two to be the fastest."
"Did you put Samehada in the sea?"
Kisame chuckled. "You won't let me fight, so I had no choice but to put it in the sea."
Shamu curled his lip. "Kyoko is pregnant, and you're still thinking about running off somewhere?"
"There'll be plenty of chances later. Can't you tell what matters more?"
Shamu no longer lacked mid- to high-level combat power. Obito launching the Fourth Shinobi World War would merely be Shamu's means of hammering the entire Shinobi World into one piece. He did not need Kisame for it.
After all, he had seen far too many melodramatic stories where someone left their pregnant wife at home, went to the battlefield, and died.
Shamu firmly refused to allow that.
He would turn something with a very low chance of happening into something with zero possibility.
Though resurrection was no longer difficult for him, supplies were limited and could not be wasted.
Just then, the owner brought over another plate piled high with meat skewers and set it on their table.
Shamu sniffed the air. Since coming to this world, he had found that many delicacies could not be recreated with their original flavors.
But he was quite satisfied with barbecue.
Shamu immediately started digging in without ceremony.
"Not bad, not bad. Smells great."
"Which countries have you visited?"
As he ate, Shamu casually chatted with Kyoko and Kisame.
"Oh, there are countries like that too..."
Shamu learned of several countries whose names he had never heard before, but most of them basically had no shinobi.
