Sasori of the Red Sands did not know what Shamu meant. After thinking briefly, he answered, "Yes. The Fifth Kazekage's inauguration ceremony."
Shamu was somewhat surprised. In the original timeline, Gaara had become Kazekage around this time.
But Rasa was still alive now. What the hell was going on?
Could this have been Rasa's idea?
Although Shamu did not know the exact reason, since such an event existed, he intended to make use of it.
"In that case, go wait in Sunagakure."
"Orochimaru will be going to Sunagakure soon to attend the ceremony. He'll let you see your parents while he's there."
Sasori was both shocked and delighted. That meant both he and his grandmother could see his parents.
He did not know why Orochimaru was leaving Konoha, but since Shamu had told him so, he probably would not deceive him.
Besides, if he operated near Sunagakure, even if Obito sensed him, he could claim he was plotting to obtain the corpses of Hidden Sand Village's powerful shinobi.
That would allow him to remain undercover with Obito.
And continue cooperating with Shamu in the future.

Sasori said those words stiffly. After all, he had only ever said them to two people.
Shamu was the third.
Shamu waved his hand.
"If you linger around Sunagakure for too long, you'd better hand something over to Obito, so he doesn't grow suspicious."

"Go notify Chiyo first."
