Chapter Summaries

Shamu and his group joined Director Okamura’s film crew aboard a ship bound for the Land of Woods, where Naruto’s display of Kurama’s power earned him a larger role in the movie. When Snow Ninja blocked the ship’s route with a glacier, Okamura chose to film there and hired Shamu to protect and assist the crew in exchange for a share of the movie’s earnings.

• Director Okamura invited Shamu’s group to make cameos, and Shamu agreed to let Naruto act after hearing about the production schedule.
• Naruto demonstrated his Tailed Beast Cloak, astonishing Kazahana Koyuki and the film crew, and Okamura expanded Naruto’s role into a subplot.
• After the ship passed the Yokosang Mountains, the crew found a huge glacier blocking the route, and Shamu warned that Snow Ninja had likely moved it with ninjutsu.

Shamu rescued Uchiha Hikari from the Uchiha clansmen hunting her and learned that she was searching for Boruto Uzumaki. He took her into the sky and forced the clansmen to give him a map, leaving with a lead on where to go next.

• Hikari recognized Boruto’s name and told Shamu she still had things to say to him, while Shamu healed her wound.
• Shamu identified himself to the Uchiha clansmen and learned that Munetoki led their clan and Hashirama Senju led the Senju Clan.
