Yoya used his Mangekyō Sharingan and swordsmanship to nearly kill Yugito before the Raikage intervened and ended the match. Shamu treated Yoya, reassured him that Yugito would survive, and negotiated compensation for his broken sword as the next match was set to end at the first touch.

• Yoya unleashed God Speed, Thunderclap Six Flash and struck Matatabi with five rapid slashes before driving his sixth slash toward her heart.
