"You really are kind." Higashino Kanade pinched Arcueid's soft little cheek and slowly shook his head in refusal.
"No. Just as Mr. Shishigou said, miracles come at a price. His ancestors dared to make a contract with an unknown existence, so they should have been prepared to face this day. This is the karma they brought upon themselves."
"Besides, I'm not some god. My abilities are limited. Letting him trade his qualifications as a Master for one wish is already the utmost I can do."
Seeing that Higashino Kanade disagreed, Arcueid said nothing more. She would not interfere with his decision.

"I was lost for a long time. I didn't know which wish was right. Was I a magus, or was I a father? Thanks to this rebellious Servant, I can finally see myself clearly." Shishigou Kairi gave Mordred a faint smile, then cursed with resolute eyes, "To hell with magecraft. I want my daughter back!"
"Very good. I respect your choice." Higashino Kanade smiled with some relief.
