"Are you, like that gentleman, a member of Penacony's Family?"
Welt had already regained his composure. To him, a superstar was merely an identity; what mattered was their purpose. Now that such an important figure from the Family had suddenly appeared, their intentions might not be friendly.
"To be honest, I am a guest just like all of you. Penacony is my hometown, but I left after growing up. I was fortunate enough to be invited back this time to perform a song for the Grand Gala."
Robin kindly explained to the strangers why she had come here. March 7th clasped both hands against her chest, looking as though she had just seen her ultimate idol. Robin was such a kind person—her admiration had not been misplaced.
"Sunday is my elder brother, one of Penacony's local decision-makers and the organizer of this Grand Gala. When he heard that you had encountered some trouble, he brought me here to offer assistance. Unfortunately, we arrived a little late and gave you an unpleasant check-in experience. I sincerely apologize."
Not only had Robin come to help, she had even apologized. March 7th felt completely undeserving of it. It clearly was not Robin's fault, yet she was apologizing like this. March quickly returned the courtesy.
"You're such a good person!"
March 7th and Robin chatted back and forth. Caelus was not Robin's fan, so naturally he could not join in. Besides, after all that conversation, he had only learned one thing: the man with bird wings like Robin's was his uncle. That was all that mattered.
"Please rest assured, I have instructed Miss Elly to resolve the system malfunction as soon as possible. We will also provide an additional guest room as compensation. The hotel will arrange a suitable room for you shortly."
Sunday spread his palms as he spoke. His tone was as gentle as Robin's, and he was handsome as well. Yet March 7th, the only one present who might have been affected by a man's appearance, did not spare him so much as a glance. Her attention remained fixed on Robin.
"Thank you for being willing to mediate on our behalf. However, would it be inappropriate to add another room specifically for us? As far as I know, there should be quite a few guests from invited factions."
Welt's brows furrowed imperceptibly. There was a hint of refusal in his words. Favors had to be repaid. They had originally agreed to owe Aventurine a favor, but now it seemed they would owe the Family one instead. That was not something he wanted to see.
"Please do not worry. The Family will handle the necessary communication. Since you have honored Penacony with your presence, it is only right for us, as its actual administrators, to resolve your difficulties. Should you require anything in Penacony, the Family will always be at your service."
Sunday smiled and continued. Welt had nothing more to say. At this point, refusing further would seem ungrateful. Besides, this was only because of the Star Rail Express's status. If other guests had encountered such trouble, it would have been miraculous for someone of Sunday's stature to appear personally, let alone bring along his star sister.
"The invitation is tied to the guest room. I have one, so there's no need for you to make exceptions for us."
Acheron suddenly spoke. Everyone's eyes turned toward her, and for a moment, no one said a word. When dealing with people, everyone cared about social etiquette. Acheron's refusal to accept their goodwill and her hardline attitude toward the Family were unnecessary. She was like a college student who had just graduated and had never experienced the harsh realities of social interaction. In plain terms, she was too arrogant.
"Aren't you a passenger of the Star Rail Express?"
Robin felt the atmosphere turning awkward and could not help asking Acheron.
"I am, but there's no need to make the Express owe favors because of me."
Acheron stated her intentions. She had said when she first boarded that she would have an invitation. Now, seeing the Express about to owe strangers a favor for her sake, she did not think it was necessary.
"Then what does this lady intend to do?"
Sunday felt that things had indeed gone beyond his expectations, but his expression remained calm. He did not grow angry because of Acheron's firmness.
"The Grand Gala has not begun yet, and there is still some time before hotel check-in. Before then, I will bring the invitation here."
Acheron spoke frankly. Since she had put it that way, Sunday naturally had no need to offer an extra room. Welt had been frowning all along, but he was not angry at Acheron's attitude. Instead, he felt this might be a good outcome. He had not considered this approach before. Young people really did have their own ideas.
"Then, may you all spend a wonderful time in your dreams."
Seeing this, Robin said nothing more. After leaving her blessing, she prepared to depart with Sunday. But after taking just two steps, Caelus rushed forward and blocked her path.
"Huh?"
Robin looked surprised. She thought she had encountered an overzealous fan, but Caelus merely took out his phone, smiled, and held up his QR code.
"Miss Robin, let's add each other on WeChat."
Caelus explained his intentions with a smile. March 7th stared at him wide-eyed. She wanted to add Robin's personal WeChat too. Having a universal superstar in her chat list would feel great even if they never spoke. But March did not have Caelus's initiative. Ordinary people would not dare ask so directly.
"This..."
Robin did not immediately refuse Caelus. Instead, she looked at Sunday beside her, apparently seeking her brother's opinion. She could not decide on her own.
Anyway, Add Each Other on WeChat First
"My sister will be very busy lately and will have almost no private time. Perhaps next time."
Sunday raised a hand to stop Caelus. As a fellow man, how could he fail to understand Caelus's intentions? The way this guy looked at Robin was clearly the way a man looked at a woman. His desire to marry her practically overflowed from his eyes. As a doting brother, Sunday was already showing remarkable restraint by not hitting Caelus with a big move on the spot.
"Should you require anything in Penacony, the Family will always be at your service."
Caelus suddenly said something seemingly unrelated. Even someone like Sunday froze for a moment, while Robin turned her lively eyes toward Caelus.
They were all smart people, so Caelus's meaning was obvious. Sunday had said those words only moments ago. It had merely been a polite courtesy. A person of his status could not possibly hover around the Star Rail Express crew every day as their nanny, and he had never expected anyone to take those words seriously. Yet Caelus repeated them within minutes. If Sunday said he could not do it now, he would be slapping his own face.
Since he had promised to be at their service at any time, communication was an indispensable part of that. Caelus had seized upon this point, forcing Sunday to respond. A trace of surprise flashed through Sunday's eyes before he took out his phone, preparing to add Caelus on WeChat.
"Mr. Caelus is right. The Family will always be at your service. This is my personal WeChat. You may contact me whenever you need something."
Robin wore a gentle smile. She took out her phone, opened WeChat, scanned Caelus's QR code, and added him as a friend.
Sunday's expression shifted slightly, but he ultimately said nothing. Caelus's request had been directed at Robin, and Robin was also a member of the Family. To keep refusing now would make the Family seem petty. Thus, with a single sentence from his uncle, Caelus obtained the WeChat of his future wife. They had already added each other on a messaging app—was tricking her into coming home still far away?
"Welt, our kid is really something."
Himeko had watched everything clearly from the side and could not help praising Caelus. He had not been unreasonable; he had merely exploited a loophole in the other party's words to obtain the WeChat of the person he liked. The calculation was simply brilliant. It was nothing like something a child would do.
"It would be even better if he used it for the right purpose."
Welt adjusted his glasses. Caelus's move had indeed been impressive, but he had used it to pursue a girl. Welt felt helpless. He was getting older. If Caelus grew up properly, he would certainly become a pillar of the Star Rail Express. But this tendency to become incapable of moving whenever he saw a beautiful woman was truly worrying.
"Caelus, hurry up and share Robin's WeChat with me."
March 7th grabbed Caelus's arm. Robin's personal WeChat! Without exaggeration, if Caelus auctioned that account, it might sell for the price of a Star Destroyer. March was so jealous she was practically falling apart.
"No. I worked hard to get it." Caelus refused firmly.
"You... don't make me beg you."
"This won't be the last time we meet. Ask her yourself next time."
Caelus still refused. He would not share Robin's WeChat with anyone. What if she disliked that sort of thing? Taking a risk with the relationship between himself and his future wife would require him to be out of his mind. March 7th would just have to suffer a little. Besides, a cup of milk tea would be enough to cheer her up.
"I'll return to the Express first."
Acheron spoke up. Since she had neither a room nor an invitation, she would simply return to the Express. In any case, she intended to retrieve her invitation before coming back.
"I'll go with you."
Caelus answered without hesitation. Although he had not yet seen what the guest rooms were like, all of Penacony combined was not as important as Acheron. Naturally, he followed her.
Himeko and Welt, the two elders, did not say much. Caelus might still be a child, but Acheron had her own thorough considerations. They were not the kind of elders who would forcibly change others' minds. They let things take their natural course.
Caelus and Acheron arrived at the harbor outside the hotel. Just as they were about to return to the Express, his phone vibrated, showing that a message had arrived.
Can't Buy Anymore, Caelus. Something terrible happened.
Galaxy Youth: What? Is our child about to be born?
Can't Buy Anymore: Stop fooling around! Madam Herta was attacked. You little bastard, aren't you coming back to check on her?
Galaxy Youth: Oh no, my grandmother, the dearest and closest person in this world to me! How will I live without her? How will the inheritance be transferred, and how much tax will there be?
Can't Buy Anymore: Actually, it was one of Madam Herta's puppets that was attacked by an unknown person. The Space Station is in a panic right now. I have no one else I can ask for help, so I thought of you. How are things in Penacony?
Galaxy Youth: I heard the Grand Gala is still a long way off. I have plenty of time.
Can't Buy Anymore: Then come back for a trip.
Galaxy Youth: Okay.
"Acheron, I need to return to the Space Station. Are you free?"
After putting away his phone, Caelus's expression became serious. This was the first time Asta had asked him for help. She surely had no reliable people around her. Their relationship had not quite reached the level of lovers, but they were more than friends. If he performed well this time, getting intimate with her later would be easy.
"Yes."
Acheron nodded. Caelus immediately took her hand and boarded the Express. Whether by warp or some other method, they would go to the Space Station first.

There's Something This Good?
"Passengers, why have you returned, pom? Did you miss the Station Master, pom?"
Pom-Pom was looking out into the parlor car when he saw someone return and asked curiously. He could not leave the Express, otherwise he would have gone out to play long ago.
"Of course I missed you. One day apart feels like three eight-hour system cycles."
Caelus nodded seriously. Pom-Pom's face broke into a happy smile, but before he could smile for more than a few seconds, Caelus explained why they had returned.
"Pom-Pom, the Space Station has run into some trouble. We need to go back and help Asta."
"In that case, can't you just use the Realm Anchor to return?"
Pom-Pom nodded. Such a small matter did not require activating the Express's warp device. The resources spent on a round trip would be enormous, so he told Caelus about a simpler method.
"What is that?" Caelus asked doubtfully.
"It is an anchor point formed from the power of Trailblaze. Any passenger of the Express can use the power of Trailblaze to teleport. However, it can only reach places you have already visited. Since these things are easily damaged and difficult to make, they can only be installed on territory belonging to our own people."
Pom-Pom began explaining what a Realm Anchor was. Put simply, it was a teleportation point, and only those recognized by the Express could use it.
"Wait, why didn't you tell me you had something this good earlier?"
Caelus froze for a moment. If he had known about this before, he could have placed one in Belobog and another on the Xianzhou. Wouldn't that mean he could sleep with his wives every day?
"You never asked, pom." Pom-Pom replied righteously.
"Fine, I really didn't ask."
Caelus scratched his head and accepted this setting without any pressure. The Star Rail Express was originally an Aeon's legacy. Humanity could already travel across the stars, so was it difficult for an Aeon to make a teleportation array? It was as easy as picking one's nose.
"Here is the map. Find the place you want to go and tap it. Afterward, use the anchor point to return."
Pom-Pom led Caelus to the jukebox in the parlor car and pointed to an inconspicuous control panel. When Caelus opened it, he saw the locations of several Realm Anchors. He took Acheron's hand and tapped the Space Station's anchor. In an instant, he felt himself take flight, followed by a brief loss of awareness. When he came to, he was already standing on the Space Station platform.
Beside Caelus and Acheron was a glowing sphere. Cone-shaped structures revolved around it above and below, specks of starlight flickering within each component. It did not resemble any material found in the universe and was clearly the work of an Aeon.
"As expected of an Aeon, casually accomplishing what ordinary people cannot."
Caelus accepted this incredibly convenient arrangement with perfect ease, then brought Acheron toward the master control zone where Asta was. Before long, they met her.
"You got here so fast?"
Asta was slightly surprised to see Caelus, but she did not ask how he had returned. That meant she knew the Realm Anchor existed.
"Because my heart was racing home. My longing for you has already surpassed the speed of light."
Caelus reached out to take Asta's hand. She nimbly avoided his grasp and rolled her eyes at him.
"Cut it out. Let's talk in Madam Herta's office."
Asta led Caelus and Acheron toward Herta's office. Along the way, they encountered Peppy, who came over to mooch attention. Caelus picked up his dog brother and entered Herta's office together with him.
There were already two people standing in the office. One was Screwllum, the mechanical lifeform Caelus had met before. The other looked human, but wore a plaster statue over his head. Who knew whether he even needed to breathe?
"You're Screwllum, and you're the strange plaster man?"
Caelus greeted Screwllum. As for the plaster man, he ignored him. One look at his build told Caelus he was a man, so there was no interest.
"Mr. Caelus, greetings. We met previously during the Simulated Universe testing, so there is no need to repeat introductions."
Screwllum raised a hand in greeting. Though he was not human, he had better manners than most humans. The plaster-faced man did not speak, and Caelus did not care in the slightest.
"This is Mr. Veritas Ratio, a scholar of the Genius Society."
Screwllum took the initiative to introduce the man beside him. Only then did the plaster-headed man seem to awaken from a dream and nod at Caelus.
"I came to the Space Station to visit the curios and was inexplicably dragged into this incident. Madam Herta was attacked, so we two outsiders are the greatest suspects."
Dr. Ratio spoke. Although the Space Station had security forces, they would not arrest people over such a matter. The two outsiders had also consciously remained in Herta's office rather than wandering around.
"Logic: agreed," Screwllum said.
"So where is my grandmother?"
Caelus asked Asta. Something this serious had happened—one of Herta's puppets had been destroyed—yet she had not personally come over? Caelus was really curious what the old woman looked like after returning to youth. Was she a beautiful woman?
"Madam Herta is already aboard the company's private ship. I heard she was invited to some event. She herself said it was only a puppet and did not matter."
Asta spoke helplessly. If Herta had been willing to come, Asta would not have had to work herself to exhaustion here. Unfortunately, Herta did not care at all. She had held the same attitude when the Space Station was attacked before.
"Asta, what happened? Judging from how worried you look, it's more than just Grandmother's puppet, isn't it?"
Caelus quietly reached out and held Asta's warm hand. This time, he caught her properly, and Asta did not resist.
"Yes. In fact, four researchers have already gone missing within the Space Station."
Asta looked at Caelus. Thinking of their relationship, she did not hide anything from him. At present, Caelus was the only person she could rely on. He belonged to the same faction as Herta, so trusting him was not a problem at all.
"Missing? When did that happen?"
Caelus asked in surprise. He had initially thought it was a prank aimed at Herta, but now it seemed the situation was not so simple. It seemed this Space Station was haunted.
"Over the past few days. The damage and wounds caused by the Anti-Matter Legion had finally begun to heal slowly, but this happened at exactly that time. Although I sealed off the news, there is no wall that does not leak in such a small place. After the previous attack, the researchers became extremely distrustful of management. They believed the Space Station had been attacked because it lacked protective measures, so voices questioning management have never stopped."
Asta sighed heavily. Being attacked by the Anti-Matter Legion had indeed been a nightmare. Who knew why the Anti-Matter Legion had targeted this little tin can? They had finally driven the Legion away, only for mysterious disappearances to emerge. The researchers were on the verge of a breakdown. At this point, any spark could make a riot inevitable.
