I'm so sorry, but my updates have been very inconsistent lately, mainly because I've been sick.
I thought I'd be better in two or three days, but I never expected it to drag on this long.
The whole thing feels downright magical to me.
It's like when Daji told Bigan he had no heart, and then Bigan died.
That day, I was bragging to everyone in the author group that I'd already been writing this novel for 400 days. At my peak, I'd updated more than 10,000 words a day for over ten days straight.
Then, while everyone was marveling at that, I started reminiscing about all the hardships I'd endured. Oh, you know, I hadn't taken a single day off in those 400 days, my schedule was a mess, staying up late was the norm, and so on.
I don't know what was going through my head, but I suddenly thought that maybe I was going to ruin my health doing this.
And then, starting with that thought, all sorts of health problems began popping up one after another. Lately, I've even started getting headaches.

Can our thoughts really affect how our bodies function? I couldn't help thinking of the entire system of Magical Theory I'd built for this novel.

It's pretty spooky.
Anyway, that's what's been going on. I've been taking Chinese medicine lately, trying to get back in shape as soon as possible.
I'll do my best to get back to my usual schedule of two updates at 8 a.m. as soon as I can.
