Dumbledore was clearly very patient. At least over the next few days, Anton saw no sign of Old Dumbledore making any moves, while Sirius Black continued to appear in Defence Against the Dark Arts.

Anton even began to wonder whether Dumbledore had failed to notice.

And so, the weekend arrived.

This had originally been the Cottage's planned group activity day. Everyone was supposed to go work in Hogsmeade Village.
