School life was sometimes mundane.
As a student, Anton attended his regular classes and also received extra masterclasses from Professor Snape and Professor Dumbledore on weekends.
At the same time, Anton had never been stingy about sharing his knowledge.
He had always been generous. By now, he had published quite a few books—Muggles, Werewolves, and Wizards, a study of Human Transfiguration; Anton's Adventure Stories: Teaching You How to Defend Against Dark Magic, which covered the Animated Item Sprite Charm for Defense Against the Killing Curse; and the book he was currently writing, Wizard is God, which explored the Six Soul Elements in detail.
And it was not just about writing books. Rather than becoming consumed by pride in abilities far beyond those of his peers, he actively taught his fellow students.
Perhaps the teachers he had encountered throughout his life had greatly influenced him in this regard.
Old Wizard Fiennes, Professor Snape, Professor Dumbledore, Professor Voldemort, Grindelwald, Professor McGonagall...
These powerful wizards had all been exceptionally generous with their knowledge and willing to teach others.
If Anton's teachers had been Pedro the Goblin, who was exceedingly stingy with knowledge; or Scrimgeour, who required contributions in exchange for magical boxes; or Fudge, who demanded an exchange of benefits, then he would have gone down a completely different path.
Life was sometimes wonderfully strange. Anton loved magic, and meeting those teachers had been a fortunate and happy thing.
Even if most of those teachers were not exactly good people.
But neither could they simply be dismissed as bad people.
Whether wizards were gods or madmen, what they displayed was often vastly different from ordinary people. Perhaps that was simply what wizards were.
