Anna stared at everything unfolding before her in disbelief. The rocket-propelled grenade was practically flying straight through the window of one of the apartments with its lights on.
The tremendous roar carried far into the distance. It seemed to have struck one of the pillars supporting the building, and the entire structure groaned.
"I can't make sense of it either." Anton watched them in confusion. "This is Manhattan, New York!"
Never mind how the wizards would react. What were they thinking, attacking an apartment building in the middle of the city with a rocket launcher?
Were they trying to carry out a terrorist attack?
And all this just to target a single apartment building?
It made absolutely no sense!
Just then, Anton's Lake of the Mind suddenly began to boil. A tremendous sense of terror surged through him.
