Background and History

Lupin was bitten as a child after his father, Lyall, offended the werewolf Fenrir Greyback. Dumbledore arranged for him to attend Hogwarts despite the danger posed by his transformations. Lupin later joined the Order of the Phoenix, standing against werewolves who supported Voldemort, though fellow Order members suspected him of disloyalty because of his condition 153 493 888.

After James Potter's death, Lupin wandered alone and struggled to find paid work. Alex Fiennes captured him for an experiment, but Lupin helped Anton when the boy turned against the old wizard. Anton subsequently sought treatment for Lupin and came to regard him as a trusted teacher and protector 4 5 7 10 12 227.

Lupin took a management job at Chada Information Consulting Company and later became a professor and a representative of the werewolf community. He eventually held senior Ministry positions, first directing the Werewolf Office and later heading its parent department 35 223 493 1013.
