"No, make it bigger!" George stood on the hillside where the Animal Paddock was, gesturing toward the valley below.
Anton waved his wand, blue light rippling over the ground and covering a wider area. "How about this?"
He turned to look at the twins.
George seemed satisfied. He nodded, then looked back toward the nearby Black Lake, judging the ground's elevation.
Fred, however, gazed around with a troubled expression. "There's less and less room in the Animal Paddock."
They planned to divert water from the Black Lake underground and use the valley to build a pond for a whole nest of Platypus Puffskeins. The water would then flow back into the lake.
It was a good plan. Given the difference in elevation, the valley would become a small pond fed by a tributary of the Black Lake, adding variety to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry's waterways.
Their idea had won the approval of Deputy Headmistress Professor McGonagall and Forbidden Forest Keeper Professor Hagrid, who thought it was highly creative.
However, it also meant that the Fire Mammoths—a mature breeding population—would lose part of their habitat.
As Fantastic Plants scholars who loved little animals, they were beginning to worry about the creatures' mental health in such cramped conditions.
The hillside around the Animal Paddock, which they had once thought incredibly spacious, was now packed with little animals in every corner.
Worst of all were the Whole-Family Pepper-Scented Chickens. They were huge, omnivorous, and easy to raise, and each brood produced plenty of chicks. They had already taken up far too much of the other creatures' living space.
In theory, they should cut back on breeding.
But with all their new breeds and their experiments with Magical Items, sales of Whole-Family Pepper-Scented Chickens to the outside world
