Fudge's political considerations were moving and stirring, but Anton had nearly nodded off listening to them. The moment magic came up, though, he seemed to come alive.
"Oh, of course you know what I mean—the way Fantastic Beasts use magic!"
Anton jumped down from the rattan chair and gestured wildly. "It's more natural, more fluid, almost instinctive."
"Wizards can do that too!"
"I figured that out back in my First Year. I called it 'Innate Magic,' but that name isn't quite right. The correct term should be 'State-of-Mind Magic'—a spell that perfectly matches your current state of mind."

Anton spoke excitedly about these magical principles. He loved explaining the Magical Theory he had worked out to other people. It was satisfying, bringing him a strange sort of pleasure. Perhaps he simply liked being a teacher.
Perhaps it was the feeling of taking a hopelessly weak, hopelessly clueless student and, with a little coaching, turning them into someone capable of incredible things. That made him especially proud.
