Come to think of it, the two had only met for the first time today. But perhaps because of their blood relation, or perhaps because Ye Cheng resembled her father so much, she felt an innate sense of closeness toward him. Ning Rongrong was completely at ease around Ye Cheng, showing no embarrassment whatsoever as she ate.

After the two finished their meal.

The waiter came over to clear away the dishes and brought them two drinks.

The two sat there and began chatting casually.

Basically, Ning Rongrong, who was quick to warm up to others, did the asking, while Ye Cheng answered.

The brother and sister got along exceptionally well, not at all like they had just met. Instead, they seemed like they had known each other for a long time. Ning Rongrong called him "Brother" one time after another with complete naturalness. Anyone unaware of the full story would probably think the siblings had grown up together.

Shrek Academy's dean, Four-Eyed Cat Owl Flender, stood on the main training field, looking at all six students before him. Dai Mubai, Tang San, Ma Hongjun, and Zhu Zhuqing, whose expression was icy but whose appearance was neat and efficient, had all prepared for their evening lesson. Every one of them was full of energy.

However, Flender's attention was not on them, but on the other two students.

"Oscar, have you two finished running twenty laps?" Flender's gaze was sharp enough that no one dared meet his eyes.

Oscar coughed and nodded. "Dean, I finished."

Flender snorted coldly. "I asked whether you two finished, not whether you did."

Oscar turned to look at Ning Rongrong. She was looking at him too, her beautiful large eyes filled with innocence.

Gritting his teeth, Oscar nodded. "Yes, we both finished."
