Background

Ye Cheng was reincarnated on Douluo Continent after dying in his previous life. He became the young master of the Ye Family in White Cloud City and was raised by his mother, Ye Lisha, a Soul Emperor. Although his family’s inherited Flying Rainbow Sword was a respectable sword-type Martial Soul, Ye Cheng’s own awakening produced a failed iron-sword mutation with no Innate Soul Power. He consequently lived as a pampered but unambitious “good-for-nothing.” 1

His life changed when the Ye Family was destroyed. Before sending him through an escape tunnel, Ye Lisha gave him a Storage Ring and jade pendant, revealing that his biological father was Ning Fengzhi, master of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. Ye Cheng refused to rely on Ning Fengzhi or seek the sect’s protection, resolving instead to avenge his family himself. 1 6

Soon afterward, Ye Cheng awakened the Acting System and captured half of the ownerless Live Stream Spoiler System. Using its low-level authority, he fabricated a future in which he possessed Twin Martial Souls, attained Limit Douluo strength, and evolved the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda into the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Pagoda.
