"Spar?" Scáthach paused slightly, then the lips beneath her black veil curved upward into a delighted smile that Fu Yuan could not see.
What an interesting proposal.
Scáthach continued to examine Fu Yuan as she said, "You mean you want to spar with me, then gain my acknowledgment and recognition. Is that right?"
"That's right." Fu Yuan gave Scáthach a smile full of fighting spirit. "For certain reasons, I hope to compete with the Queen of the Land of Shadows!"
"Sure." Scáthach accepted Fu Yuan's proposal for a spar without hesitation.
Scáthach was now filled with curiosity and interest toward Fu Yuan, whom she could not see through. She wanted to fight him as well. That way, she would be able to learn the measure of his abilities.
And through their spar, Fu Yuan would be able to gauge Scáthach's depths as well.
Scáthach suppressed the long-dormant fighting spirit within her, then looked around. "Do you intend to spar with me here?"
"Of course not." Fu Yuan shook his head.
Originally, Fu Yuan had thought that after activating this Daily Quest, the system would send him to the Land of Shadows on the outer side of the world. He had not expected the system to directly pull Scáthach over from the Land of Shadows.

Then Fu Yuan drove Scáthach toward the sparsely populated Mount Ensō.
Fu Yuan, who was driving, glanced at Scáthach in the passenger seat and discovered that the Queen of the Land of Shadows had closed her eyes, seemingly resting.
"Why are you looking at me?" Scáthach, her eyes closed, suddenly asked.
Fu Yuan had not expected Scáthach to know he was looking at her even with her eyes closed.
