"Move, let's go. Take him to that island to the east."

Professor X shouted.

This place wasn't suitable for engaging the Black King.

"No need to take him."

There was a small island east of the quarantine line. Magneto glanced through the porthole and said viciously.

He remotely controlled from across the cabin, his hand clenching hard.

Over the sea, the grating sound of metal deformation rang out.

On the water, the cigar-shaped nuclear submarine was gripped like a fragile toy by an invisible giant hand, directly twisted and bent, then hurled toward the island.

A dozen-meter-high wave of earth was kicked up, rows of coconut trees flattened like blades of grass.

He had thrown the tens-of-thousands-ton nuclear submarine from a mile away, brutally smashing it onto the island.

"It seems I've twisted fate again."

Glancing at the Ability Points that had increased by another ten thousand, Ron thought to himself.

Originally, Magneto didn't have this ability at this point; he had struggled to move it with difficulty.

"And the final battle was supposed to take place in the nuclear reactor room of the submarine. Magneto snuck in, got beaten up, and then, while the Black King was busy talking too much, ambushed him from behind, controlling the wires to take off his helmet.

That let Professor X take control of him and seal the victory."

Now, the Black King definitely wouldn't stay in that crumpled nuclear submarine.

Ron looked through the window.

Everything was unrecognizable.

The fighter jet landed on the sea.

The group stepped out of the plane, staring at the twisted submarine that had cratered the island in the distance.

"Is that guy really still alive?

Under that kind of force?"

Raven whispered doubtfully to Ron.

The others were skeptical too.

"It's not that simple."

Ron shook his head slightly. These people didn't know the terrifying upper limit of the Black King.

No sooner had he spoken than—

Boom!

A terrifying burst of energy exploded from the front corner of the submarine. The thick steel outer wall, flimsy as paper, was blasted and torn open into a several-meter-wide hole.

The Black King, helmet intact and unscathed, radiated terrifying heat and nuclear energy as he stepped out gracefully and slowly.

Where he walked, steel melted into molten iron, sand burned into glassy slag. Heat waves rolled, and the surrounding temperature shot up rapidly.

"You came. I knew it was you. Too bad you're too late."

The Black King stared at the group, like a demon lord emerging from hell, exuding a terrifying aura. He had already absorbed most of the energy from one nuclear reactor.

"I feel like he could destroy the world on his own."

Alex took a step back in fear.

"The moment he showed up, I got the illusion we were in Hawaii."

Darwin's throat went dry as he quipped.

The group was on high alert, tense and nervous.

Hank glanced at his thick fur, which could catch fire at any moment.

"I've never hated fire as much as I do now."

"The Black King at full power."

Ron looked on and sighed.

In the original plot, after draining the reactor, the Black King was killed off cheaply, never showing much of his strength—a classic case of a villain dying from talking too much. But this time was different.

"Erik, get the others out of here!"

Professor X immediately grasped the severity of the situation and hurried everyone else back onto the plane.

Anyone who couldn't even get close would only die staying here.

The others quickly turned back to the aircraft.

"Ron..."

"Raven, go with them."

Ron shook his head, telling the worried Raven to leave. She had an important role in the follow-up plan, and staying would only be a liability. She couldn't afford to get hurt here.

A man and a woman bid farewell on one side, while on the other.

"Charles, you go too."

Erik controlled the belt on Professor X, ignoring his desire to stay, and tossed him into the Blackbird jet, then launched the jet to a safe altitude high in the sky.

"What's the use? Where can you possibly flee to?"

Black King cast a contemptuous glance and withdrew his gaze, no longer bothering with them.

"After today, the entire world will be under my rule!"

"It's just the four of us left."

Darwin turned his head to look, his expression grave beyond measure.

Ron, Magneto, Alex, and himself.

"All assembled."

Facing the terrifying Black King, a fervent gleam flashed in Ron's eyes, and a smile crept across his face.

His Ability Points had just increased again.

He could now obtain the ability he had wanted most since entering the X-Men universe.

His entire body began to heat up, his genes rapidly transforming.

Professor X was originally supposed to be on that island, accidentally injured, his spine severed, legs paralyzed for life—suffering that would have forged him. But now, having left the island, none of that would happen.

"Let's deal with them first, then I'll slowly take care of you."

Scanning Ron and the others, Black King stomped his foot, energy erupting as his body shot up like a rocket, heading toward the center of the two fleets.

Only by unleashing the nuclear energy within him there could he destroy all the ships, leaving no credible witnesses for either nation.

"Stop him! He can't be allowed to destroy the fleet!"

Professor X shouted anxiously through the jet's speakers.

"Shaw, you're not going anywhere today!"

Magneto roared, tearing a sheet of iron from the nuclear submarine, floating it beneath his feet to lift him up. He dismantled a massive wreckage piece, seven or eight meters tall, and flew it to block Black King's path.

Ssssh!

A thick beam of energy shot from his chest as Alex yelled loudly.

"Let's see if you can swallow this too!"

With training and the specially designed suit that focused his energy, he could control his power to some extent and release even greater force.

But it was destined to disappoint him—Black King could drain even a nuclear reactor.

"Thanks."

Midair, rapidly absorbing the energy beam striking him, Black King said mockingly, then raised his palm and fired it back, slicing through the blocking wreckage like a hot knife through butter, flying past without a pause.

Boom!

But suddenly, a figure appeared in midair, swinging a fist down and smashing it into his face.

"I ignored you, and you dare come meddle in my affairs again?"

Taking the punch, Black King saw Ron's murderous intent and retaliated with an equally furious punch. Terrifying nuclear energy coalesced in his fist, radiating temperatures nearing thousands of degrees, intent on killing Ron.

Boom!

Energy ripples exploded outward. The surging nuclear energy struck but vanished like a stone dropped into the sea.

The thousands-degree heat felt like a gentle breeze. Ron glanced at the fist pressed against his abdomen, absorbed the energy from it, then looked up with a mocking smile.

"You can't even put force into a punch, and you still talk about ruling the world?"

"That's my ability, you thief!"

This familiar sensation—Black King's face twisted in shock and fury as he instantly recognized it.
