Background

Ron was born as Homelander's son and spent his first eight years confined with Becca and Ryan in a Vought-monitored community. He understood that their home was a “cage” and that Vought regarded the family as a secret contingency connected to Homelander. His strained upbringing left him detached from Becca and Ryan and determined to secure enough power to escape control. 1 22

His unique mutation gave him an ordinary human baseline and shortened lifespan in exchange for limitless capacity to accept genetic alterations and ability infusions. After discovering the Template System, Ron began traveling between worlds, altering major characters' fates to earn Ability Points and acquire their abilities. 1

Ron first entered the X-Men world, where he allied with Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr against Sebastian Shaw. He killed Sabretooth, Azazel, Riptide, and Angel, repeatedly disrupted Shaw's plans, and helped defeat the Black King. 3 5 7 17
