A Lingering Wish

After Senyo left, Sasuke felt his stomach was empty too, so he headed home as well.

When he reached a fork in the road, a Byakugan girl greeted him. "Brother Sasuke."

Sasuke blanked out for a moment before realizing it was Hanabi.

"Hanabi, you're back. Do you know there's a Chunin Exam coming up?"

A smile appeared on Sasuke's face, and his tone softened. After all, Hanabi was the one who called him brother.

Hanabi lived with the Uchiha and had never faced the issue of living under someone else's roof. After all, she had been brought back by Senyo.
