Liu Feng is the eleven-year-old incarnation of the Immortal whose test traps Lu Chuan in a fixed world. Lu Chuan's diary identifies Liu Feng's father as the embodiment of the Immortal's accumulated suffering and directs Lu Chuan to rescue him only with his willing consent 187.

Before Lu Chuan intervenes, Liu Feng lives under frequent domestic abuse from the man regarded as his father.
