The Heavenly Spirit Pool originally belonged to the Heavenly God Race. The previous Combat Department leader and the father of Chu Feng's master infiltrated the race's lair, seized the pool directly from its leader, and made it the Combat Department's foundation. 41

By the current era, the Heavenly God Race stands at the top of the Myriad Races. Despite this position, the Human Race is considered difficult to challenge directly because of its unusually profound foundation and enduring place among the top ten races. 49

War over the Immortal Lotus

A Heavenly God Race prodigy discovered the Immortal Lotus in Myriad Stars City, confirming that treasures from the vanished Myriad Stars Tower had scattered through the city. The longevity sacred medicine can extend lifespan regardless of realm and contains immortal insights; its discovery triggered a conflict with the True Demon Race. 154

Bai Feng was ordered to recruit one hundred geniuses as mercenaries within a week for the war. His camp accepted recruits from other races and promised rewards for killing hostile prodigies, including a Peak Houtian Spirit Treasure for killing Duolun. 155 156
