Bill Mu looked toward Youye, wanting to know what kind of deck Youye's Archetype was centered around. But Youye's very first sentence nearly made him lose his composure.
"Several of the cards sent to the Graveyard by Reasoning have effects that activate there, so I'll begin a Self-Arranged Chain. I choose Chain Link 1: Tearlaments Merrli's effect. When this card is sent to the Graveyard by a card effect, I can reveal a Fusion Monster, return Fusion Materials to the Deck, and Fusion Summon that monster. Chain Link 2: Haval, the Desian Skyblaster. When this card is sent to the Graveyard by a card effect, I can add a Trap Card with the Tearalaments Archetype from my Deck to my hand."
After saying that, Youye saw that Bill Mu had not responded and continued.
"Chain Link 3: Visas Starfrost's effect, sent to the Graveyard just now. I can banish this card from the Graveyard to add a card that mentions Visas Starfrost, except itself, from my Deck to my hand!"
Bill Mu's expression darkened. What the hell was this? All three cards he had milled had Graveyard effects? One Fusion Summon and two searches? And Youye had even used a Self-Arranged Chain to stop his Photon Lord from negating the Fusion Summon!
The chain resolved in reverse order. Chain Link 3: Visas Starfrost added the Field Spell Primeval Planet Perlereino from the Deck to Youye's hand. Chain Link 2: Haval, the Desian Skyblaster added the Counter Trap Tearlaments Cryme from the Deck to his hand. Chain Link 1: Tearlaments Merrli in the Graveyard fused with Tearlaments Havnis in his hand, Fusion Summoning Tearlaments Kitkallos!
After the effects resolved, the Black Mist around them briefly turned into a pale blue ocean. Then Tearlaments Kitkallos, holding a short sword, appeared on Youye's
