Background / History

Youye operates a small shop offering Archetype-specific Deck Builds. His first known customer is Bai Yun'er, whose newly awakened Swordsoul Archetype lacks a functional strategy. Drawing on knowledge from his previous world, Youye offers her a thirteen-form Tenyi Swordsoul build and predicts it can reach Heaven-tier at minimum and King-tier at maximum 1.

Though initially perceived as merely an Earth-level duelist, Youye repeatedly demonstrates knowledge of unrevealed Archetypes, advanced card interactions, and optimal Deck Builds. He uses Bystial cards to teach Bai Yun'er about information advantage and summons Swordsoul Grandmaster - Chengying, revealing the true potential of her Archetype 3 4.

As his reputation grows, duelists, families, government bodies, and Archetype Spirits seek his Deck Builds. He gains Archetypes through duels, Spirit agreements, and Original Cards, including Swordsoul, Thunder Dragon, Horus, Galaxy-Eyes Photon, Lightsworn, Spright, and Mathmech 48 58 63 69 106.

The Rules eventually reveal that Youye died in his original world before beginning a duel. After winning the Duel King Tournament, he accepts a final assessment involving duels against bosses from various anime worlds 253.
