"If you really want to do something, go get the box from my motorcycle," Merlin tossed her the keys to his bike.
"OK!"
Hannah glanced at Merlin with concern, but knowing she couldn't help here and would only be a burden, she tightly gripped the keys and headed towards the garage.
"Merlin!" A hoarse, low voice sounded as the Lizardman arrived before Merlin. His massive claws swiped at him, but it didn't seem like he intended to harm him, only to capture him.
"Buzz!" But just as the menacing claws were about to make contact, a powerful electric arc wave suddenly shot out.
Under the immense impact, the Lizardman's tall body stumbled, involuntarily taking a few steps back.
However, just as the Lizardman stumbled back and was about to regain his balance, two strands of webbing suddenly shot out from behind him, sticking to his shoulders.
Gwen Spider-Man, now clad in a black and white form-fitting suit that perfectly showcased her shapely figure, had landed behind him at some point, pulling hard on the webbing with both hands.
"Bang!" The already off-balance Lizardman fell flat on his back with a thud.
"Woohoo, nice teamwork, buddy, well done," Gwen cheered, giving Merlin a thumbs-up through the Lizardman lying on the ground.
"I think you'd better restrain him with your webbing," Merlin said, pointing at the Lizardman struggling to get up.
"Oh, sorry, this is my first time encountering this kind of monster, I got a little excited." Gwen patted her head, then extended her hands, and white, sticky webbing shot out continuously, adhering to the Lizardman's claws and feet as he tried to stand.
"Spider-Man!" Peter looked up at Gwen across from him, a flicker of admiration in his eyes.
But then he remembered the monstrous, lizard-like appearance in the mirror and his expression turned to grief and madness.
"Roar!!!" He roared, instantly breaking free from the webbing, and then, without looking back, chased after Merlin again.
"Damn it!" Merlin was also speechless. He remembered having no grudges with Peter, even being good friends. Why was he targeting him specifically after turning into a Lizardman?
Thinking of Peter's recent abnormality, he could roughly guess the identity of the Lizardman before him.
Merlin looked at the charging Lizardman and pulled the trigger. Another atomic electric arc wave shot out, aimed directly at the creature's head.
However, because the atomic gun in his hand was not yet perfected, its power was not very great. With some preparation, the Lizardman raised his arm to block it and then continued to walk towards him as if nothing had happened.
Gwen also shot out webbing from behind, trying to stop him, but like the atomic electric arc wave, it could only slow him down slightly before being torn apart by his immense strength.
"No, no, no, you can't keep moving forward." Seeing this, Gwen became a little anxious. Her hands moved rapidly, and dense webbing shot out from her wrists, all concentrated on the creature's tail.
She grabbed the thick webbing, planted her feet firmly on the ground, leaned back, and strained to pull against the Lizardman.
But the next moment, she suddenly lost her balance and was sent flying backward. A thick, green severed tail, wrapped in webbing, landed beside her, its tip even wriggling a couple of times.
"So gross..." She muttered, looking at the severed lizard tail that resembled a tentacle, then quickly got up and shot a strand of webbing upwards, sticking to the exhibition hall's ceiling and swinging away.
Peter glanced back at his severed tail and let out a soft snort. A new tail began to grow back at a visible speed.
"Bang!" At this moment, an atomic impact hit his head, causing him to momentarily daze.
But this blow, for some unknown reason, seemed to have stimulated a nerve within him, igniting his inner madness. He bared his fangs at Merlin and let out a low growl, charging at him like a car.
Merlin pulled the trigger again, only to find that the internal energy storage had been depleted.
"Merlin!" Just then, an anxious shout came from the doorway. Hannah returned to the exhibition hall, panting, holding a silver case.
Merlin's eyes lit up at the sight. Seeing the charging Lizardman, without a moment's hesitation, he tossed the Atomic Gun aside and, instead of retreating, charged forward to meet it head-on.
"Merlin!" Gwen in the air couldn't help but gasp as she saw him charge straight ahead.
With the Lizardman in between, Hannah seemed to guess Merlin's intention and, with tacit understanding, threw the case in her hand with all her might.
Under the worried gazes of Gwen and the others, Merlin and the Lizardman grew closer. Despite the huge difference in their physiques, Merlin showed no signs of slowing down; he sped up instead.
He could even feel the foul stench emanating from the creature's body.
Seeing Merlin within striking distance, the Lizardman suddenly swung its claws.
Merlin, watching the giant claws rapidly approaching, suddenly arched his body, dropped to his knees, and slid to dodge, passing by the creature.
"Bang!" The weapon case Hannah threw landed perfectly in his arms.
Open the case, grab the gun, insert the magazine, release the safety, grip, twist, tilt and aim... the entire sequence flowed like water.
When the Lizardman turned around, it was met with a dark, hollow muzzle.
"Da da da..." The muzzle of the MK2 Bullpup Rifle spat out dazzling flames, and dense bullets whizzed out.
However, the concentrated barrage of bullets did not inflict significant damage upon hitting the target.
"Useless!" Peter raised his arm to shield his more vulnerable eyes, enduring the impact of the dense bullets as he continued to charge at Merlin.
The bullets embedded in his body were quickly pushed out, and his wounds healed rapidly.
However, the next moment, his expression changed drastically. He looked at his arm in panic: "What is this?"
The bullets embedded in his body had suddenly ignited, and fierce flames spread from his arm, rapidly engulfing his entire body.
"Roar!!!!" Like a self-immolating giant, he roared in agony to the heavens.
Merlin's bullets had just run out. As he reached for a new magazine, the creature, now engulfed in flames, suddenly sprinted madly towards the restroom.
Merlin quickly loaded a new magazine and then cautiously followed, raising his rifle.
Gwen, who had just landed, snapped out of her shock and quickly followed along the ceiling.
"Drip, drip..." The men's restroom was in disarray. The mirrors were covered in cracks, as if they had been shattered by a powerful punch.
Silence reigned, broken only by the sound of dripping water and the crackling of sparks from the electric lights.
Merlin, holding his rifle, approached a destroyed toilet stall. The surrounding wooden boards had been completely destroyed, with some scorch marks remaining.
The toilet inside was completely shattered, revealing the sewer opening below.
