"What did you say?" Mr. Eric Hart shouted instinctively. "Your school's headmaster is coming for a home visit tonight?"
"Yes!" Jon nodded obediently.
"Oh, God!" Eric exclaimed. "Why didn't you tell us sooner?"
"I only just received the notice myself..." Jon said with a wry smile.
Eric could not help making the sign of the cross. As he thought, he asked, "I remember Doctor Granger mentioning that your headmaster seemed to be a very famous wizard?"
"That's right!" Jon nodded again. "He's probably one of the most famous wizards of this century in the British Isles—indeed, in all of Europe!"
"So he's the wizarding world's equivalent of Tim Berners-Lee, John Lennon, or Winston Churchill?"
"More or less!"
"Amen... Say, son..." Eric quietly lowered his voice. "You haven't gotten into any trouble at school, have you?"
"Of course..." Jon said somewhat against his conscience. "I haven't."
"That's good." Eric let out a sigh of relief.
"You think Jon is like you?" Judy came out of the kitchen. Having overheard the conversation between father and son, she smiled at Jon. "Your father was quite the troublemaker when he was at school. Back in Trampington, he broke curfew at least five times a month..."
"Heh heh!" Eric chuckled. "Your mother, on the other hand, was a perfect little good girl. When she married me, all those old professors at Newnham were utterly shocked that she had ended up with a notorious troublemaker like me!"
"Jon has always taken after me. Such a good boy!" Judy snorted, then continued asking her son, "That headmaster of yours... Professor Dumbledore..."
"It's Professor Dumbledore..." Jon quickly corrected her.
"Right, Professor Dumbledore... He's coming at seven. He might have dinner here, right? Does he have any particular preferences when it comes to food?"
"Um, I think..." Jon pondered
