A day later, Archer arrived at Redito's room on time and respectfully handed him the parchment covered in dense equations. He had assumed Redito would ask a few questions to test whether he had truly solved them himself. Instead, Redito merely gave it a casual glance, did not even utter a syllable, and set it aside as though it were an insignificant scrap of waste paper.

"Follow me." With that, Redito's mechanical body rose and left without the slightest pause. Archer immediately followed.

Redito led Archer into an empty warehouse. The lighting was dim, with only a few work lamps casting faint light. In the center of the warehouse stood the Death Seekers Company's Wyvern Suppressor, its massive body seeming especially heavy amid the shadows.

"Do you recognize it?" Redito's synthesized voice echoed through the hall.

Archer nodded. "I've even driven it before."

"Very good," Redito said. "Your next task is to communicate with this Suppressor's Machine Spirit."

"Th-this vehicle has a Machine Spirit?!" Archer said in astonishment.

"Why do you think she doesn't?" Redito countered.

"Because she seemed perfectly normal in the previous battles," Archer explained. "Nothing like [being able to fire despite insufficient shells] or [being able to move despite insufficient fuel] ever happened..."

Everything he mentioned had come from the crash course on official Warhammer lore.

"No, she has a Machine Spirit," Redito stated firmly, his tone equally resolute. "Feel for it carefully. I will give you six Terran hours. Report to me after six Terran hours."

With that, Redito said nothing more and turned to leave the warehouse, leaving Archer alone with the massive war machine.

Archer hesitated for a moment. Though the mystical existence of Machine Spirits challenged his worldview, this was, after all, a completely different world. Different rules and different things existing here
