Ch. 302Dragon Painting

Lu Yao learned that Pasha’s apparent lack of progress came from researching dragonkin, and Can Cong explained the Dragon Painting Talisman and the value of dragon remains. The chapter ended with Lu Yao deciding that Pasha should receive the memories in the two dragon corpses.

  • Can Cong praised Pasha for creating a dragonkin bearing a Dragon Emblem, but explained that Pasha’s strengths lay in physical power rather than spellcasting.
  • Can Cong described the Dragon Painting Talisman, which let the beetle imitate dragon forms, auras, voices, and spells it had witnessed.
  • Lu Yao approved of Pasha’s research, and Pasha declared that he was developing dragonkin as the future of the Dragon’s Nest.
  • After Slaimod’s Gezhi avatar recounted the two dragon corpses, Can Cong explained how dragon remains could aid Sub-Dragon evolution and preserve memories.
  • Lu Yao decided that Pasha should receive the memories from the dragon corpses.

Ch. 303Doing This Doesn't Mean I'm Amazing

Lu Yao examined the memories of three dragon corpses and learned about Dragon Tomb and the dangers of dragon awakenings. After Pasha refused to consume the dead dragons, Lu Yao trained him into his second awakening, and Pasha found Dragon Lodging’s coordinates, unlocking spatial coordinates for the Yao Tribe.

  • Pasha touched the Red Dragon Puxi’s corpse and saw its memory of falling in love with a white bird, then viewed the Blue Dragon Tiris’s fatal fourth awakening.
  • Can Cong explained that Dragon Tomb granted fourth-awakened dragons the rule-level [Endless Death Rattle], which had struck the Cloud-Feather Guest.
  • Pasha viewed Green Dragon Antonios’s failed attempt to master [Splitting into Two], then refused Can Cong’s advice to eat the dragon corpses and declared he would gain power his own way.
  • Lu Yao summoned the Blood Knight to train Pasha, who completed his second awakening, reached LV41, and gained [Strong Life].
  • Pasha found Dragon Lodging’s direction, and the Yao Tribe unlocked the ability to record coordinates in the Inter-dimensional Space.

Ch. 304You Guys Can Even Figure This Out?

Lu Yao investigated the Yao Clan’s slow population growth and learned that its inventors had already developed a fireproof, rubber-like material from Black Wu Mud. He sent a cactus as Sand City’s first Blessing, then opened the Tree of Creation to strengthen it for Cloud Temple’s harsh environment.

  • Lu Yao discovered the Dragon Abode’s direction, set the Vortex World toward its nearest passage world, and left it to travel while he returned to the Yao Clan World.
  • Lu Yao traced the Yao Clan’s low birth rate to harsh conditions and the pressures of extraordinary life, and continued policies encouraging childbirth and immigration.
  • Philes told Lu Yao that Tie Yang had made Black Wu Mud fireproof by mixing it with borax, creating a durable material useful for the Brass Furnace Dragon and other engineering projects.
  • Lu Yao found Tie Yang, raised the seventy-two-year-old Engineer to level 10, and reflected that the Yao Clan’s inventors were too numerous for every achievement to earn recognition.
  • Lu Yao sent a cactus to Sand City as its first Blessing, and Mayor Slaimod’s clone led residents in planting more cacti.
  • Lu Yao decided ordinary cacti might not survive Cloud Temple’s extreme environment and activated the Tree of Creation to improve them.

Ch. 305Harmony is Precious

Lu Yao created the wise, drought-resistant Box-Carrying Cactus and released it near Sand City, where it helped expand the oasis and support Wuji People exploring the desert. As the Northern Oasis Renovation Plan began, Bamboo Tiger arrived seeking combat work but was accepted as a bamboo builder.

  • Lu Yao fused the Silver Buckle Lacquer Box with a cactus, gave the resulting Box-Carrying Cactus Wisdom, and released the new species in Cloud Temple.
  • Slaimod helped Sand City residents befriend more than thirty Box-Carrying Cacti and launched the Northern Oasis Renovation Plan.
  • The Box-Carrying Cacti planted more cacti, helped residents obtain water, and became companions and landmarks for Wuji People surveying the desert.
  • Slaimod examined the first applicants from the Ghost Realm and Bamboo Gourd Country and accepted Bamboo Tiger as a bamboo builder after learning he could plant and work with bamboo.

Ch. 306Are You Deliberately Looking for Trouble?!

Slaimod completed Sand City's recruitment for the Ghost Realm, accepting workers including Bin Jiao, whose ability could heal ghosts at the cost of his own health. Meanwhile, Bulo and Zhunan struggled to recruit in Sand City until Ululu and the writer Matthews volunteered, with Matthews bringing his wife and assistant; Lu Yao discovered that Matthews was actually Pawa hiding from readers in another world.

  • Slaimod rejected Bin Ji's application, then recruited seven external laborers, including Bin Jiao, a Ghost Physician who treated ghosts by consuming his own health.
  • Lu Yao found Bin Du organizing Funeral Tribe members and Ghouls to build the Ghost Realm's first city from Black Gravestones.
  • Sand City residents mocked the conditions in the Ghost Realm and Bamboo Gourd Country, and Zhunan angrily defended Bamboo Rats.
  • Ululu volunteered to survey the Ghost Realm and Bamboo Gourd Country for mineral deposits, and chose to begin with the Ghost Realm.
  • Matthews offered to document the two Divine Kingdoms' histories and joined Bulo with his wife Mina and assistant Shaja, who was actually Jodi in disguise.
  • Lu Yao checked the Golden Plains and realized Matthews was Pawa, who had fled with his wife to avoid finishing his overdue novel.

Ch. 307But Ms. Mina Gave Too Much

Shaja traveled with Matthews and Mina to Pillar Mountain, where he unexpectedly became Matthews's writing assistant and helped create a wildly popular book about Temple Warriors. The book sparked fanatical worship of Lu Yao, and the Simulator showed Faith Points rising to 520,000, leaving Lu Yao bewildered.

  • Shaja accepted Mina's offer to travel to the Ghost Realm after she promised him another chest of gems, despite his fear of the damp climate.
  • On Pillar Mountain, Matthews asked Shaja to write, and Shaja began a story before becoming his official writing assistant.
  • Matthews published Book of Graves, and three years later Shaja's Temple Warrior booklet began circulating in Sand City.
  • Temple Warrior spread through the Yao Clan World, while readers debated the identity of its missing Box-Carrying Cactus author.
  • The Simulator reported that Temple Warrior created a new popular culture and drove Lu Yao's Faith Points up to 520,000, leaving him confused.

Ch. 308Not to be repeated

Lu Yao made Shaja a Hero after the cactus’s writing helped Pawa create the Temple Warrior stories and a plan to make them seem real. As Shibao’s work established mathematics and a unified calendar, Lu Yao named it the Yao Calendar and began a new era.

  • Lu Yao transformed Shaja into a Hero and learned how Pawa had helped the cactus develop Temple Warrior from illustrated stories into a convincing fictional history.
  • Pawa coached Shaja on the setting and proposed using essays and accounts under several names to support the Temple Warriors’ apparent reality.
  • Lu Yao agreed to keep Shaja and Pawa’s involvement confidential, deciding that their work was worth the faith it generated.
  • Shibao wrote On Numbers and Words, invented the profession of Mathematician, and improved the Yao Tribe’s knowledge and computational skills.
  • The Yao Tribe unified its regional calendars, and Lu Yao named the new calendar the Yao Calendar, beginning Year 1 of the Fire Vapor Era.

Ch. 309Learning for the Rise of Bamboo Gourd Country

Lu Yao observed Shibao teaching mathematics and monitored the exchange of workers between the Yao Clan and Bamboo Gourd Country, as well as Bin Jiao's treatment in Sand City. A late-night notification revealed that Pasha had located the Dragon Abode Passage to Continent Island, prompting Lu Yao to investigate the empty-looking Inter-dimensional Space.

  • Shibao taught his students how mathematics developed and applied to disasters, construction, and commerce, while Jiu Jian and Shang Meng offered their insights.
  • Lushan encouraged the workers from Bamboo Gourd Country to endure their work in Sand City and learn skills to build up their own Divine Kingdom.
  • Yao Clan Physicians treated Bin Jiao with a Hybrid Potion and discussed further experiments as he wondered whether he was a doctor or a patient.
  • Pasha found and completed positioning for the Dragon Abode Passage to Continent Island, and Lu Yao switched to the Inter-dimensional Space display to inspect its location.

Ch. 310Red Coral Mirage

Lu Yao claimed the hidden Continent Island and discovered the Red Coral Mirage, a powerful wonder that could project images across the world. Isabelle then found a damaged Nine Harmony Pillar beneath the sea, leaving Lu Yao puzzled by the appearance of a wonder he thought had exploded on Earth.

  • Lu Yao used the Vortex World to reach the invisible, godless Continent Island and anchored it to the Tree of Sylvanus at a cost of 175312 Faith.
  • Lu Yao explored the world and learned from its records that Hermit in the Rain had created it and hidden much of it with the Red Coral Mirage.
  • Lu Yao claimed the level 5 Red Coral Mirage and discovered that connected corals and Misty Mirages could project images from distant locations.
  • Lu Yao tested the wonder and learned that its high Mimicry Mastery had concealed Continent Island, though the mirage had been weakened from its former level 9.
  • Isabelle reported a suspicious area beneath the southern seafloor, where Lu Yao used True Sight Curse to identify a damaged Nine Harmony Pillar.

Ch. 311The Great Sui Points the Way

Lu Yao learned the history and function of the Nine Harmony Pillar, a Dragon Race navigation wonder, and had Can Cong repair the pillar on Continent Island. It could locate only Blood Hill and Sun-Forging Bay, leaving Lu Yao to travel the damaged route one passage at a time as he investigated what had happened to Taisui and Continent Island.

  • Lu Yao called Can Cong to examine the underwater Nine Harmony Pillar, and Can Cong explained that it was developed from the Dragon Race’s Great Sui Hook.
  • Can Cong recounted how the Dragon Race sacrificed Voyagers to alter Great Sui’s rules and eventually tame it, then used the Great Sui Hook to create Nine Harmony Pillars linking passage worlds.
  • Can Cong repaired Continent Island’s Nine Harmony Pillar by spending Health Points, while Lu Yao realized the Red Coral Mirage had concealed and protected it.
  • The repaired pillar located Blood Hill and Sun-Forging Bay, but it could not open a passage, and Can Cong suspected that something had happened on Taisui.
  • Lu Yao reviewed the island’s records and learned that Hermit in the Rain and a recuperating dragon had left through the pillar in the 9th era, after which the god’s Flame of Faith went out and Continent Island lost its divine protection.

Ch. 312North-South War

The chapter recounts how the Zhouzhou People and the Jiaoren rose, fought, and briefly cooperated before climate disasters destroyed both civilizations. By the end, the Zhouzhou People were extinct and the Jiaoren had been reduced to animal instincts.

  • A Sea Toad population surge devastated the Zhouzhou People, killed more than 30,000 of them, and weakened their society.
  • The Jiaoren gained Wisdom from consuming Zhouzhou People’s sea-burial corpses, then rebelled against their captors and attacked the north.
  • Hermit in the Rain sent an Apostle to end the war, and the Zhouzhou People and Jiaoren later traded and cooperated, creating the [Red Coral Mirage].
  • After the God and dragons left the Nine Harmony Pillar, an era of extreme cold struck, and the Jiaoren blockaded the sea while the Zhouzhou People died out.
  • In the Eighth Era, extreme heat and toxic algae weakened the Jiaoren, while Shark-Eating Fish hunted them until their civilization collapsed.

Ch. 313Dragon Race Interests Above All Else

Lu Yao studied Continent Island’s history, concluding that forced divine intervention and single-race civilizations had made its past unstable, while the Dragon Race’s needs had shaped Hermit in the Rain’s duties and eventual fate. He chose to preserve the world’s ecology under observation and selected Sun-Forging Bay as his next destination.

  • Lu Yao reviewed the Zhouzhou People’s rise, their conflict with the Jiaoren, and how the Dragon Race’s arrival briefly pushed the rival peoples into cooperation before Hermit in the Rain’s fall reignited war.
  • Can Cong explained that Yinglong was a unique Dragon Abode title inherited by Honored Dragons, and that passage worlds required Subordinate Gods to maintain them for the Dragon Race.
  • Lu Yao inferred that Hermit in the Rain had prioritized the Nine Harmony Pillar and Dragon Race traffic, and that an accident at Dragon Lodging was connected to the pillar’s damage and Hermit in the Rain’s fall.
  • Lu Yao observed Continent Island’s adaptable Wild Boars, Wild Dogs, and Red Thorn Snakes, then decided to preserve its natural ecology as a potential source of future civilization and a backup world.
  • Lu Yao left the Deep Sea Lord on Continent Island and ordered Slaimod to send a Gezhi clone as an observer.
  • Lu Yao chose Sun-Forging Bay, a passage world specializing in forging and repairs, as his next destination.

Ch. 314Special Investigator

Lu Yao considered following the Dragon Abode Passage to collect more Divine Kingdoms and accepted Song Shiyi’s offer to become a special intelligence agent. Song Shiyi then asked Isabelle to help investigate Hong Mouxiong’s case, which involved a mysterious child named Beidou, also known as Star Lord Lian Zhen.

  • Lu Yao ordered Slaimod and Philes to study transplanting the red coral and Misty Mirage from Continent Island.
  • Song Shiyi offered Isabelle the position of special intelligence agent, including access to the committee’s non-confidential database, and Isabelle accepted on Lu Yao’s instructions.
  • Song Shiyi asked Isabelle to help with the investigation into Hong Mouxiong’s crimes at Roadside Diner.
  • Hong Mouxiong told the committee that a white-haired child had threatened him with a paper figure and ordered him to bring someone to a rooftop.
  • The child’s voice came from the paper figure in Hong Mouxiong’s collar, and he introduced himself as Beidou, or Star Lord Lian Zhen.

Ch. 315Beidou and Nandou

Hong Mouxiong described how a Paper Figure forced him to bring people to a rooftop, where a Wish Spirit’s powers made them believe a lucky white elephant had healed them. Song Shiyi explained that investigators believed a player called Beidou was using the Wish Spirit’s Apostle, and Lu Yao spotted a real elephant inside the stadium.

  • Hong Mouxiong lured four children and one woman to a rooftop under the Paper Figure’s orders, where they later insisted a white elephant had granted their wishes.
  • Song Shiyi told Lu Yao that investigators found evidence of the abductees eating takeout on the rooftop and concluded a Wish Spirit had affected them.
  • Song Shiyi explained that the Wish Spirit’s Word Spirit and Wish Corridor abilities created the elephant and albino-child appearances, and that someone was testing its powers on citizens and players.
  • Song Shiyi revealed that the suspect called himself Beidou, a Voyager associated with the Enforcement Bureau, while Nandou served the Confidentiality Bureau; she said Beidou had been unusable for years.
  • Lu Yao saw a huge white elephant silently walking out from a passage inside City Stadium.

Ch. 316The Tamed Elephant

Song Shiyi and Isabelle captured a Ten Directions White Elephant and learned it was a Wish Seed tied to the creation of Wish Spirits. Their discovery led them into a spatial trap, where the real Beidou revealed himself, prompting Lu Yao to mobilize backup and head to the scene.

  • Song Shiyi used her fishing line to tame the Ten Directions White Elephant while Isabelle helped keep it from escaping.
  • Song Shiyi explained that Wish Seeds gathered prayers and fed people addictive false wish fulfillment, and that Wish Spirits had been created from them in Wasteland No. 7.
  • Song Shiyi learned that someone had used the elephant to collect wish power and control players, but Mingzai warned that the stadium was sealed inside a spatial gap.
  • A man in the stands identified himself as Beidou and revealed the paper-folding child beside him as Yao Che, but Song Shiyi doubted his identity.
  • Lu Yao used True Sight Curse and confirmed the man was Star Lord Lian Zhen, a powerful god under an Old God's Curse, then mobilized backup and rushed to the scene.

Ch. 317Heavy Punch

Song Shiyi and Lu Yao’s allies confronted Star Lord Lian Zhen, who revealed that the other six Star Lords had fallen into the Void Universe and tried to take Song Shiyi away. Lu Yao’s Apostles overwhelmed Lian Zhen and killed him, leaving behind a Paper Figure and a glittering stone.

  • Song Shiyi drew the Sky-Covering Moon Arrows and challenged Star Lord Lian Zhen, who warned that awakening the Moon God would cost her memories and said he was waiting for Nandou.
  • Star Lord Lian Zhen revealed that the other six Star Lords had fallen into the Void Universe, then tried to take Song Shiyi with him when Nandou did not arrive.
  • Mingzai attacked Lian Zhen, but Lian Zhen used [Imprisonment Field] to freeze him and then restrained Tyrant and other attackers as they ambushed him.
  • Forrest, the Guest-receiving Monk, and Slaimod joined the assault, overwhelming Lian Zhen after his repeated use of [Imprisonment Field] exhausted his Mana Points.
  • Lu Yao watched remotely as his Apostles killed Star Lord Lian Zhen, whose body dispersed into white mist and left a Paper Figure and a glittering stone behind.

Ch. 318Paper Ghoul Soldiers

Song Shiyi and Isabelle explained Star Lord Lian Zhen’s disappearance to the committee, while Lu Yao returned his Apostles to Pixel World after the battle. Lu Yao then examined the spoils and discovered a Divinity and a set of Paper Ghoul Soldiers.

  • Song Shiyi checked that Yao Che was safe, and Isabelle told her that Star Lord Lian Zhen had left and that her colleagues had come to help.
  • Song Shiyi explained that Lian Zhen may have sought Nandou’s power to separate himself from Yao Che, and she gave Isabelle a phone and bank card for future contact.
  • Mingzai warned Song Shiyi that Isabelle was dangerous, but Song Shiyi defended Isabelle and later received orders to report to committee headquarters in the capital.
  • The committee investigators concluded that Apostles had fought Lian Zhen, while Lu Yao sent his Apostles back to Pixel World and secured Song Shiyi’s phone in Sand City’s Blessing slot.
  • Lu Yao examined the battle’s spoils and identified one item as Divinity and the other as Paper Ghoul Soldiers LV7.

Ch. 319A New Life Begins!

Lu Yao quit his job and turned his attention to the Simulator, where the Yao Tribe made a breakthrough in mathematics. He promoted Shang Meng to a Hero and raised her level, while she wondered whether mathematics could reveal patterns in the god’s blessings.

  • Lu Yao reviewed Star Lord Lian Zhen’s schemes and concluded that his risky attack had earned him a Godhead, though Lian Zhen’s title had not dropped.
  • After receiving intelligence and labor payments, Lu Yao quit his company job and decided to focus on working as Song Shiyi’s intelligence agent while avoiding dangerous operations.
  • The Simulator reported that the Yao Tribe had developed arithmetic, ratios, measurement units, statistics, and equations, building on Shibao’s Four Basic Arithmetic Operations.
  • Lu Yao examined Shang Meng’s background and learned how her merchant family and interest in numbers had led her to develop equations and become a mathematics lecturer.
  • Lu Yao transformed Shang Meng into a Hero and raised her to level 10; she thanked him and wondered whether mathematics could explain the Divine Book and the god’s blessings.

Ch. 320The Twin Cities at a Historical Turning Point

Lu Yao observed Yao City’s new education-centered Universal Divine Authority and Salt City’s bond-backed City-State Responsibility System. Salt City’s reforms revived its development and restored its standing as Yao City’s equal.

  • Lu Yao checked Yao City and learned that its Education Law and Universal Divine Authority had raised literacy, attracted residents, and helped it grow past 160,000 people.
  • Yao City’s residents discussed White Fortress’s attempt to imitate Temple Warrior armor and the Pharmacology College’s plans for a transformation potion.
  • Lu Yao examined Salt City’s Bond, Creditor Law, Invention Law, and Labor Employment Law, which supported its new City-State Responsibility System.
  • Salt City’s City Council adopted the system after pressure from competing cities and Sanilo’s Supernatural Worker Association, using bonds to attract investment and motivate workers.
  • Salt City emerged from its development slump and again rivaled Yao City as an equal.

Ch. 321Universal Divine Authority and the City-State Alliance

Lu Yao watched Yao City and Salt City compete over which system could best guide the Yao Tribe, while their Apostles traded insults. Oracleism spread from Yao City as Salt City founded a city-state alliance, leaving the Twin Cities’ rivalry unresolved.

  • The Tyrant and the Blood Knight argued over whether Yao City or Salt City would prevail, and Lu Yao struck them with lightning to calm them down.
  • Universal Divine Authority inspired Oracleism, which collected Lu Yao’s oracles into a canon and gave rise to the Oracle Bard profession.
  • Oracleism gained supporters and faith as people sought stability amid the rapid changes of the Fire Vapor Era.
  • Sanilo and Wuda City adopted Universal Divine Authority, while Crystal City, Canopy City, Elf Village, and Strait Pier implemented the City-State Responsibility System.
  • Salt City founded the Yao Clan City-State Alliance, which Canopy City, Elf Village, and Strait Pier joined; the alliance’s emergence created the City Council Wonder prototype.
